Such a crazy story and feel awful for John Paul. Ridiculous that CBS runs a story 2 years after that the laptop is real. Where was the FBI at the start of this? The treatment of John Paul scares people from doing the right thing. Real hope that there’s a part 2 vindicating John Paul and shines a light of why all this was ignored.

Misconstrued perspective

I’m not sure why how the author misconstrued the trail tapes. There was zero credible evidence against the Chief. If you want to hear the story from the man himself listen to Man in the Arena which lines under to the court tapes. This whole story weakens the greatest military of the USA. Let SEALs do their job. By putting Chief Gallagher through this, SEALs will reluctant to do their job and concern themselves with junior people bringing up petty stuff against them. Respect the senior enlisted in the military.
