With the death of his ally, Farahi Alaku, Ruka - Godtongue - is alone. Or not exactly...The island prince Kale Alaku now haunts his mind, rattling within his once peaceful Grove, promising revenge and growing every moment in power. Meanwhile, the Pyu isles are in chaos; the coastal kingdom of the Tong is still Ruka’s enemy; and every day that passes brings the empire closer to destroying his dream of a new world for his people. Once again, the son of Beyla will need the strength of his dark twin, Bukayag.

Story
It is the summer of 1940. Nineteen-year-old Vivian Morris arrives in New York with her suitcase and sewing machine, exiled by her despairing parents. Although her quicksilver talents with a needle and commitment to mastering the perfect hair roll have been deemed insufficient for her to pass into her sophomore year of Vassar, she soon finds gainful employment as the self-appointed seamstress at the Lily Playhouse, her unconventional Aunt Peg"s charmingly disreputable Manhattan revue theatre.

Story
The Red Knight"s final battle lies ahead...but there"s a whole war still to fight first. He began with a small company, fighting the dangerous semi-mythical creatures that threatened villages, nunneries and cities. But as his power - and his forces - grew, so the power of the enemy he stood against became ever clearer. Not the power of men...but that of gods, with thousands of mortal allies. Never has strategy been more important, and this war will end where it started: at Lissen Carak.

Story
They say that the Thorn of Camorr can beat anyone in a fight. They say he steals from the rich and gives to the poor. They say he"s part man, part myth, and mostly street-corner rumor. And they are wrong on every count. Only averagely tall, slender, and god-awful with a sword, Locke Lamora is the fabled Thorn, and the greatest weapons at his disposal are his wit and cunning. He steals from the rich - they"re the only ones worth stealing from - but the poor can go steal for themselves.

Story
Cassie Forrest isn"t surprised to learn that the day she’s decided to get her life together is also the day the world ends. After all, she’s been on a self-imposed losing streak since her survivalist parents died: she’s stopped painting, broken off her engagement to Adrian and dated a real jerk. Rectifying her mistakes has to wait, however, because Cassie and her friends have just enough time to escape Brooklyn for her parents’ cabin before Bornavirus LX turns them into zombies, too.

If you could sum up Until the End of the World in three words, what would they be?
Haunting, Compelling, Awesome
What does Julia Whelan bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you had only read the book?
The emotion she conveyed and variety of voices were fabulous
Did you have an emotional reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
I laughed and cried
Any additional comments?
I hadn"t come across this author before and took a chance on an Audible offer. I"m so thrilled I did. I"ve just bought the sequel and pre-ordered the third. I could listen to the narrators voice all day, it was one of those books that I would listen too even when I wasn"t driving( which is when I generally do my listening )
The characters have become friends I don"t want to leave. Loved it :-)

Story
An epic saga of love, fate and betrayal. Victoria has chosen career over love, but starts to question this decision when she finds herself working at a remote weather research station on a tiny island off the coast of Norway. In this world of midnight sunshine, the Old Gods still watch the affairs of humanity - one of them has become fixated on Victoria, certain that she is the reincarnation of a woman he fell in love with over a thousand years before.

If you could sum up Giants of the Frost in three words, what would they be?
Enjoyable, untimely disappointing....
Any additional comments?
I really enjoyed the story and the narration was excellent but it ended as if the author lost interest at the last minute, very disappointing.
But if you can forgive a rubbish ending then its worth a listen. Shripy was awesome and he will stay with me forever
