Story
For the first time, an Empress Redemptor sits on Aritsar's throne. To appease the sinister spirits of the dead, Tarisai must now anoint a council of her own, coming into her full power as a Raybearer. She must then descend into the Underworld, a sacrifice to end all future atrocities. Tarisai is determined to survive. Or at least, that's what she tells her increasingly distant circle of friends. Months into her shaky reign as empress, child spirits haunt her, demanding that she pay for past sins of the empire.

Great story, but disappointing narration
Reviewed: 16-01-22
Really enjoyed the story - great conclusion to Tarisai's story. However, the narration was not a patch on Raybearer - they really should have kept the same narrator. The American accent was jarring and didn't suit the story at all, and the tone of voice had a hint of desperation or earnestness at every word that removed a lot of the fun/joy that was present in Raybearer. If Redemptor were rerecorded by Weruche Opia, it would be 5 stats across the board.

Story
Tarisai has always longed for the warmth of a family. She was raised in isolation by a mysterious, often absent mother known only as The Lady. The Lady sends her to the capital of the global empire of Aritsar to compete with other children to be chosen as one of the Crown Prince's Council of 11. If she's picked, she'll be joined with the other Council members through the Ray, a bond deeper than blood. That closeness is irresistible to Tarisai, who has always wanted to belong somewhere.

Love love love this book

Fantastic book and fantastic narrator. The world building here was superb, and the characters believeable and interesting. The narrator is absolutely perfect - I could feel the world and story through her voice and the rhythm she gave to the drums and songs. Tragic that the same narrator hasn't done book 2.

Story
One million cloned soldiers. A nation imprisoned. A group of neurodiverse rebels fighting back. Britain as we know it lies destroyed. In the aftermath of the most daring military coup in history, the surviving population is crammed inside giant citadels, watched over by an army of cloned soldiers. The hope of a nation lies in a tiny number of freedom fighters hidden in the abandoned countryside, most of whom are teenagers who escaped the attack on their special school.

Fantastic book - can't wait for the audio sequels!

This book was brilliant, and had me on the edge of my seat the whole way through. I was fully bought into every one of the underdogs (with the possible exception of Gracie - still not sure how she survived to this point) and am super excited to hear what happens next. Please please get the sequels to us here soon!!

Story
Sheltered is a post-apocalyptic sci-fi sitcom, starring Gemma Whelan, Sindhu Vee, Rufus Hound and Marek Larwood. It’s been centuries since Armageddon and no one has ever left the bunker that has sustained what remains of civilised human life.... When innocent simpleton Gary and social climber Veronica are sent to explore the world outside, they soon regret ever leaving the safety, soft furnishings and quilted toilet paper of Fallout Shelter 7421.

Poor man's Elvenquest

Entertaining enough, but lots of similarities to Elvenquest, and not nearly as good. I'd have been disappointed if I'd paid for it, but as a free download it was fine.

Story
Stranded on prehistoric Earth, Arthur Dent and Ford Prefect find escape in the form of a time-travelling sofa. But as eleven homicidal, bat-wielding robots proceed to blow up Lord’s Cricket Ground, it seems that Arthur is far from Home and Dry. In fact, he is not even Home and Vigorously Towelling Himself. Off. Soon he is on an explosive quest to save the Universe, equipped with only a rabbit bone, a worn dressing gown, and a spaceship which looks remarkably like an Italian bistro.

Very disappointing - voices and tone different
Reviewed: 01-03-21
Big fan of Primary and Secondary phase, so obviously got Tertiary to continue adventures. The tone and audio quality is very very different to 1&2, and 'The Book' is voiced by a different and much less animated actor. Very disappointed, and don't intend to finish the book or buy 4 & 5 (as we'll be missing the middle chunk).

Great production partially ruined by eating noises
Reviewed: 18-06-19
The stories are brilliant, and all but one are produced very well. Unfortunately The Spy Who Came in From The Cold is ruined by excessive drinking and slurping noises throughout. Very difficult to listen to.
