Good Attempt

I have listened to afew similar audiobooks which is probably why it was recommended but I simply got bored. The characters are weak and unlikeable. The language is infantile, probably because it is meant for a particular audience which does not include me. I"ve given up now, three book in, as I"d prefer to spend my money on something I"d enjoy. That"s not to say that you might not. Give it a go as the narration is good and for me usually this is enough.

I just couldn"t take it any more!! Why! The storyline was interesting. The narration was good but the background music was awful. Constantly waiting for the background music to fade out but could not take it any more. Only got to about chapter 4 and gave up. Such a shame.

All characters are well rounded and I am concerned for "Mary" who is a very likable lead character.
Strong, intelligent and caring.
