Story
When my husband died, he left my broken heart behind. He left another heart behind, too - his.
I know it's wrong. I shouldn't be contacting the recipient of my husband's heart. I don't even expect him to reply.... But there's a desperate, twisted part of me that hopes he will. No names. No personal details. Just a conversation. The only thing I have left of my husband is inside him.

What a story! Full of emotions and twists and turns and so beautifully written. I can barely type as I'm sobbing from the epilogue!

Frustratingly implausible but interesting!

Great concept but the main characters actions were maddenly unrealistic! Many umplausible moments that just wouldn't happen! enjoyed the pacing and the narration so did listen to the end was surprised that I had called the guilty party vert early on!

Good story but a little predictable

I enjoyed this story, very relatable to me due the age of the characters and the time of the flashbacks scenes. loved the pop culture reference from those times. I did see the twist coming and had had my suspicions from quite early on but it didnt spoil the story!

Story
‘Do you believe the Devil exists, Detective?’ the officer at the end of the line asks. ‘Because if you don’t...I’m sure you will once you get here.’ This is how Robert Hunter is called to one of the most vicious crime scenes he has ever attended. The disturbing nature of the murder is heightened when the autopsy reveals a poem, left by the killer, inside the body of their victim. When another murder occurs, the methods and signature of each death differ so greatly that forensics fail to link the two crimes.
