Insightful Analysis of the Nephilim

I enjoyed this analysis of the judgment and fate of the Nephilim. Pitterson highlights the importance of wiping out this satanic bloodline (eventually achieved by King David) in the wider context of the biblical narrative.

Story
The rarely heard inspirational stories of the Apocrypha brought to life in this unique audiobook. In Biblical terms, ‘Apocrypha’ is a much-misunderstood term - and the title belies the immense significance of the 14 books to which it refers, all of which were originally published in the 1611 King James Bible but removed in 1885. Most of those books have always been in the Roman Catholic, Greek and other Orthodox Bibles and therefore are accepted as true Scripture by the majority of Christians.

Story
The official editions of the King James contained the books of the Apocrypha until 1796. Most printers did not clear inventories and change to the 66-book version we know today until the mid 1800's. Ethymologically, the word "apocrypha" means "things that are hidden", but why they were hidden is not clear. Listen to find out more!

Story
The book of Enoch was thought to be lost for over 2,000 years until, in 1773, a traveller brought three copies back from Ethiopia. Whether or not this ancient book was actually authored by Enoch, the father of Methuselah and great-grandfather of Noah, is an ongoing debate among historians and theologians. But all recognise the book of Enoch as one of the most important apocalyptic works outside of the Bible.

Slave Species of the Gods: The Secret History of the Anunnaki and Their Mission on Earth, 2nd Edition

Story
Scholars have long believed that the first civilization on Earth emerged in Sumer some 6,000 years ago. However, as Michael Tellinger reveals, the Sumerians and Egyptians inherited their knowledge from an earlier civilization that lived at the southern tip of Africa and began with the arrival of the Anunnaki more than 200,000 years ago. Sent to Earth in search of life-saving gold, these ancient Anunnaki astronauts from the planet Nibiru created the first humans as a slave race to mine gold - thus beginning our global traditions of gold obsession, slavery, and god as dominating master.

Fascinating Origins Account
Reviewed: 14-12-23
I found this to be a fascinating account of human origins. As a born-again Christian it was interesting to hear that the Sumerian tablets seem to be describing many of the same stories that are found in the bible. I felt uncomfortable at Tellinger's criticism of the God of the bible, but I still rate this book five stars.

Drawing from research and concepts from computer science, artificial intelligence, video games, quantum physics, and referencing both speculative fiction and ancient eastern spiritual texts, Virk shows how all of these traditions come together to point to the idea that we may be inside a simulated reality like the Matrix.

Interesting Hypothesis, Convincingly Argued
Reviewed: 06-08-23
I listened to this audiobook twice and found it put forward a convincing argument that we are living in a digital simulation. I had heard of this hypothesis before and decided to explore it further when I heard a pastor (Chuck Missler) declare that there is considerable evidence that we are living in a digital simulation. Many lines of evidence lead to this conclusion. Very well-narrated too.
