This is book 10 in Carr's Wilder Irish series and can be read / listened to as a standalone. A wonderful romance that is well written and perfectly narrated by the dual talents of Lee Daniels and Connor Brown. Carr delivers a well-balanced sweet and steamy romance with main characters Colm and Kelli. I love that these two grew up together, but Kelli is better friends with Colm's twin brother. I love the twist in the dark that brings them together. These two are just a delight, Kelli is strong and knows what she wants and goes after it, Colm is a confessed bachelor with no intention of putting down roots until the family curse bites and he does a complete 180. I adore this series and Pop-pop's retuning presence in each book as well as the importance of names and what they mean...A wonderful addition to this series and a great series overall. I can't wait for more!

This is book 5.5 in Carr's Italian Stallions series and can be read/listened to as a standalone. That said the story leaves our two main characters in limbo for us. Dual narration by Barrett and Sinclair are perfection as they bring our main characters of Liza and Matt whose family have been at odds for generations. While these two have known each other all their lives, circumstances are perfect on one holiday night after an event that both are involved in. Carr delivers a short but wonderfully well written, steamy scenario between these two which has me eagerly needing more! I desperately want to know what torchers Matt and how the two can somehow find a HEA - because frankly that's what i now need for these two! Great characters, wonderful storyline - but a to be continued...and fantastic steam! I loved this read / listen and can't wait for more!

This is book 2 in North's Billionaire Bossholes series and I am totally on board with this series! Can be read and enjoyed as a standalone, this book is the HEA of Noah and Maddie. Noah is head of a sports company, and his PA has messed up one too many times and, in the moment, hires Maddie who proves to be just what he needs in every way! I like that while this is an age gap romance, it's not in your face about the age differences. I also like how North delivers this grumpy / sunshine romance. These characters were just a delight, and I loved their dynamic and banter. A wonderful, well written romance that is sure to please with great dual narration that brought our main characters to life. Smooth flowing storyline that was easy to follow and great level of sweet and steamy romance. I also loved Noah's character growth - it was a journey with a lightbulb moment. Some of Maddie's friend / family group came off rude and calculating but I love that they always had Maddie's back. Very much looking forward to more in this series!

This is a part of Cornish's Seasonal Singles series but can easily be read / listened to as a standalone. I have to say I enjoyed this one more than Fall. The narration was good but again, could have been better, I think. Barron sounds more comfortable narrating our main characters but still stilted at times. Speaking of our main characters - they are Lexi and John. I love the meddling mom and the small town feel of this book. A sweet and clean romance where Lexi moved to another city to escape the pain left from her loser ex fiancé. I love the initial run in she had - at church no less and the spectacle made was hilarious. I would have loved more outrageous moments like that although I do think Cornish tried with Lexi being a "foot in mouth" kinda gal. Overall I liked it and I enjoyed the teaser for our Spring season read / listen!

This is book 5 in Carr's Italian Stallions series and can easily be read / listened to as a standalone. Wonderfully written and perfectly narrated reverse harem romance. Our main characters are Hazel, Kayden and Aldo. First let me just say that I love that each main character has their own narrator which really helps bring each character to life and keeps the story line flowing even more smoothly. So, yeah, about our characters and storyline - Hazel has had a rough go of it with a family who's done nothing but take advantage and been abusive, so she doesn't trust easily - or really at all. When her uncle puts her in the worse possible situation, she flees not knowing what else to do. Enter Kayden and Aldo (firefighter / cop and best of friends) who are instantly struck with her beauty and positive outlook. They not only protect her but fall hopelessly in love with her only her nasty family and the trouble they have followed her...will Hazel run again so find there are people who can be trusted?!? I love that Hazel is such a complex character who is both strong and vulnerable and of course our hot alpha protectors who will do anything to protect the ones they love!

This is book 7 in Carr's Wilder Irish and can easily be read / listened to as a standalone but oh - this series! I just love each and every one I've had the privilege to listen to. The dual narration by Daniels and Brown is perfection! Our main characters are Fergus and Aubrey. Fergus is starting a security business with his cousin Finn when an opportunity arises that he can't say no to. Aubrey is a famous musician and has attracted the attention of a dangerous stalker. Aubrey is an utter b-word at the beginning but if you've lived thru the heartache and betrayals that she has, you'd probably be one too. Fergus has known the love of family his whole life and the advice of his pop pop has always seen him thru and this job has been no different. Fantastic storyline and character development - amazing narration. Wonderful balance between sweet and steamy with a few laughs and some danger. I love the touch of bdsm that we're given too! Overall, this is another wonderful read all in of itself but also as part of this series. I can't wait for more!

Book 3 in Skykes' Mafia Menage Trilogy. I have to say this is probably my favorite of the series as it gives a bit more danger and excitement with regard to the mafia then I felt the previous books gave. I love the conflict that we have both internal with these characters as well as with the trio together which I think gives us a glimpse into the problematic issues that would arise in a menage relationship. I loved the HEA as well and thought that overall the storyline flowed well and the narration added to the characters and listening pleasure of the read. Great balance of steam, alpha protectiveness and mafia danger. Well done!

Book 1 in Ash's Love and Lyrics series and what a great introduction to a new series. I have to say I am a huge fan of Ash and I love her contemporary romance listens this one is gold! Our main characters are Camden and Layla. Perfect dual narration provided by Marina Barrett and Walker Williams. Barrett gives us a soft, smooth vocal of Layla who come thru as the perfect best friend, and single mom - just trying to do the best she can for herself and her kid Felix (a great character addition, I adore his personality). Williams is great with his vocals of bestie and band front man Camden. The journey these go to for each other is so beautiful, sweet, heartbreaking and back to sweet with the heat. I love this friends to lovers' romance and all the ups and downs will draw on your emotional heart strings. Great twists and a teaser to book 2 - Silent Chaos which is sure to delight. These band members and friends are so great, and I can't wait to listen to this entire series!

This is book 1 in Carter's Young Irish Rebels. First I have to send praises to the dual narrators Michael Gallagher, Sarah Jane Rose. These two nailed it! I mean can you have an Irish mafia romance without the Irish accents - ya could but it wouldn't be as awesome as this one is! So, so great! I could listen to these two and this accent day and night! Plus, I'm a sucker for an accent (except a US southern accent 'cause I have one of those - lol). Okay, enough gushing over that - on to the book itself. Well written with a great flowing storyline. I love the growth we see in our main characters Jack and Maeve and the importance of family. Some great twists along the way a beautiful HEA but also leaving it open for more. I love that this book didn't end in a cliffhanger - thank you! Great balance of steamy chemistry, protective romance, violent mafia and politics. I can't wait to hear more!
