It drags on and on

I was battling through it until eventually I gave up. I see what the writer was trying to do here with the alternate lives but it just made the book so incredibly tedious. The darkness did not only fall on the character but also on my will to continue reading.

Loved it. Very inspiring and re-ignited my spiritual side. I found that listening to it at 1.5x speed was ideal.
The book is full with wisdom, beautiful exercises, and stories.

Bad choice of actor. Felt monotone and neverending
Reviewed: 17-07-21
It reads like another version of Women Who Run With The Wolves. I felt like I was listening to the same book over and over.
Although some parts resonated and were interesting, the book was dragging on. This might be potentially because of the choice of actor reading the book who doesn't really fit with the book, but rather disconnects the listener from the text. A posh British accent reading in teacher-style voice. A warm and caring voice might have made the book more enjoyable. Instead it was a lecture that didn't want to end, always the same monotone voice.
