I listened to this from start to finish without stopping. This is the first book/audiobook that i will be listening to at least a second time. Mind was blown! Hope more of these come out soon!

A Decent Bedtime Story

I play this every night before I go to bed and it works like a charm. I would not reccomend this book for long car rides but it's perfect backround noise for trying to fall asleep or cleaning, meaning that you don't have to pay super close attention to it. It's a bit wordy so if you lose focus for a minute or two and then start listening again you won't miss much. For me there's a time and a place for certain audio books, the ones that are full of twists and turns that need 100% focus are great for working out, roadtrips or listening to in the bathtub with a glass of wine, and then there are books like these that serve as good backround noise for falling asleep, running errands, or cleaning.

I love this author and have read many of his books but this one was so dissapointing. It was predictable, took a long time to get interesting and the narrators voice was way too posh to be reading a book about zombies. The narrator gives everyone the same voice and the way he says "again" makes me cringe every time.

Great stories and narrator!

I had this book playing for 2 weeks straight any time I was doing any cleaning or walking the dogs and it made everything go by so much faster. These stories are dark, twisted and sometimes even funny. I must say though that compared to the rest of the stories, the first couple weren't that great so don't get discouraged if you aren't immediately sucked in. All in all I would highly recommend this audiobook. I think it's so bitter sweet when you find a really good book and feel lost and don't know what to do with yourself after finishing it, which is exactly how this book has me feeling. The narrator also does an awesome job at setting the tone for each story and he is great with different accents and dialects. So far this is my favorite book i've found on audible.
