I’ve reread this again. I have an old, tatty paperback that’s been handled a lot & thought I’d enjoy the Audio version for a change. I wasn’t disappointed. The narrator is funny & entertaining in her delivery. Doing justice to one of Kinsella’s romcoms.

Story
Sasha is well and truly over it all: work (all-consuming), friendships (on the back burner), sex-life (non-existent). Sasha has hit a brick wall. Armed with good intentions to drink kale smoothies, try yoga and find solitude, she heads to the Devon resort she loved as a child. But it's off-season, the hotel is falling apart and now she has to share the beach with someone else: a grumpy, stressed-out guy called Finn. How can she commune with nature when he's sitting on a rock, watching her? Especially when they don't agree on burnout cures.

Loved the insights of spirit from a scientific POV. The talk of cells in our body fascinated me. I’ve had kinetic healing & could directly relate my own experiences to this book. The quantum physics chapter blew my mind & the epilogue and appendage are just extra treats at the end. The author treats the reader right to the very end with his compelling words!

Story
When Mahony returns to Mulderrig, a speck of a place on Ireland's west coast, he brings only his handsome face, a photograph of his long-lost mother and a determination to do battle with the village's lies. Mahony also somehow wakes the dead from their graves, with their foggy memories and hidden stories floating greyly amongst the unseeing living. No one, though - living or dead - will be able to guess what happened to the teenage mother who abandoned him as a baby.
