Fascinating, horrifying and unputdownable, Chris van Tulleken's "Ultra-processed People" should be compulsory reading for truly everyone - but especially parents and policymakers. Society's health is being sacrificed for maximum profits of corporations and we are just idly standing by watching it happen.

"Villa in Italy" is another charming and riveting tale by Elizabeth Edmondson - full of fascinating characters, long-held secrets, and the beauty of the Mediterranean. Most enjoyable and highly recommended.

I love fictional reimaginings of real events, and "Death on the Lusitania" beautifully captures all the nuances of this incredible story. Having bought the book on a £1.99 sale, I wasn't expecting much, but the book was such a lovely surprise, with a fast-paced story and a fascinating set of characters. Overall, a most enjoyable and riveting read.

What a lovely surprise this was - and perfect for Advent listening too since the book takes place in the run-up to Christmas. "Villa on the Riviera" is a relaxing yet riveting story. I can't wait to read more by Elizabeth Edmondson.

What a lovely beginning of (hopefully) a long series! Skillfully blending the beauty of the setting and the tension of the local political climate, "Hotel Portofino" is a charming and captivating portrayal of life in a small English hotel on the Italian Riviera in the 1920s. I can't wait to read the next book in the series.

This is a classic cosy mystery set in a small Yorkshire village—nothing groundbreaking, but relaxing and enjoyable enough.

Any Christie book is a comfort read for me, but "Death on the Nile" is among my favourites. Thrilling, charming and smart, it's a classic that doesn't disappoint even on the seventh or eighth read.

I must admit that, in my ignorance, I expected more or less a list of activities that are good for your nervous system, but this incredible book is so much more. Through various exercises and journaling prompts, Deb Dana teaches you how to understand and connect with your nervous system and train it to be more resilient. Highly recommended to everyone interested in their health and well-being.
