Another great sequel. It manages to keep the concept fresh and skip over the fluff of LitRPG. Can't wait for more

A great change of pace from the usual monotony of isekai OP MC and number gore

Humor. Mechanics abuse. Character building and just the right mix of city building and rpg to keep things entertaining

Loved it. A great balance of politics, wittiness and pomp as always from the spell monger

Great new characters who's personalities are better established as time goes on
Less cringey 'friend' logic which was my main complaint from the first book
And Alot more personality from rezkin. Which is a great welcome

While I enjoyed the first half of the book and the introduction of the greater magical side of the series. It starts to derail from the clear focus the first 2 books had. Many characters just dissappear or lose importance without explaination. Motives for the ones that are In focus are weak including Rezkin himself. The supernatural elements of the story are introduced as being unknown but no one questions their existence after they have been introduced. The story creates more questions seeming only as a setup for many sequels which I will undoubtedly still read.

It's unusual for me to enjoy a book as much as I enjoyed this novel. With its blend of funny almost cringey inner monologue to the execution of its serious implications for the greater kingdom it serves as a great start to a series I can't wait to get more of. This main character is effectively Jason Bourne with Sherlocks awkward mannerism in a medieval settings
