Story
Minalan the Spellmonger has a problem: Mycin Amana, the undead consort of Korbal the Necromancer, is not only occupying one of the largest castles in the kingdom; she’s also occupying the recently-dead body of his former lover, rapist, and mother of his children, Isily of Greenflower. As the crises in the heart of the kingdom grows, Minalan is tasked to force the so-called Witch Queen of Darkfaller from her new stronghold using any means necessary. Unfortunately, the castle belongs to his rival in the royal court and future monarch Prince Tavard, whose ideas are doomed to failure.

Story
Ever wonder what happened to the Isekai’d gamer who found himself incarnated into the overweight body of a LitRPG farmer, only to spit in the face of destiny and earn more money and experience than anyone ever dreamed possible? Fairytales would have you believe he lived happily ever after, but life doesn’t always match up to fairytale endings. Accidentally murdered by a cleric in another universe during a botched resurrection, Arnold, a semi-pro gamer turned clerical error, has now become a thorn in the vindictive Northern Regent’s side.

Story
Accidentally murdered by a cleric in another universe during a botched resurrection, Arnold, a semi-pro gamer, wakes upon an altar to find himself incarnated into the overweight body of a farmer who could have been his fatter twin. He’s not the hero. He’s not the villain. He’s certainly not the chosen one who is there to save the world. He’s a clerical error. It could be a bad joke, but apparently, it happens so often that they have a standard procedure for returning you.

A great change of pace from the usual monotony of isekai OP MC and number gore
Humor. Mechanics abuse. Character building and just the right mix of city building and rpg to keep things entertaining

Great new characters who's personalities are better established as time goes on
Less cringey 'friend' logic which was my main complaint from the first book
And Alot more personality from rezkin. Which is a great welcome

Story
Rezkin is an elite warrior who aims to restore order in Ashai after Caydean's attack on the King's Tournament transformed former allies and trading partners into enemies. With no army and only a ragtag group of refugees, Rezkin must wrest control of the kingdom from the mad and powerful usurper, who seems bent on destruction, and this may not be the biggest challenge. If he fails, the kingdom will be ripped apart, and Rezkin will have violated Rule 1 - to protect and honor his friends.

Weakest of the series so far
Reviewed: 21-03-18
While I enjoyed the first half of the book and the introduction of the greater magical side of the series. It starts to derail from the clear focus the first 2 books had. Many characters just dissappear or lose importance without explaination. Motives for the ones that are In focus are weak including Rezkin himself. The supernatural elements of the story are introduced as being unknown but no one questions their existence after they have been introduced. The story creates more questions seeming only as a setup for many sequels which I will undoubtedly still read.

It's unusual for me to enjoy a book as much as I enjoyed this novel. With its blend of funny almost cringey inner monologue to the execution of its serious implications for the greater kingdom it serves as a great start to a series I can't wait to get more of. This main character is effectively Jason Bourne with Sherlocks awkward mannerism in a medieval settings
