Story
I thought magic didn’t exist. I was so, so wrong. I'm just a typical college student...until a demon attacks me on the night of my 21st birthday. Luckily, I'm saved by Noah - a mysterious, sexy wolf shifter who appears and disappears before I can ask him any questions. Then, my mom is abducted by the same demon who came after me. And who turns up at the scene of the crime again? Noah. He’s hunting the demons who are taking humans, and he’s ultimately heading where I need to go to save my mom - the mystical island of Avalon.

It was a decent story line, a little bit on the overly repetitive and drawn out side. However it's impossible to give it any higher as around chapter 242 or somewhere in the first third of book 6 the file glitched and wouldn't allow me to listen further. It would have been nice to finish it after spending so long listening to the rest of it.

Story
Three months shy of her 18th birthday, Ness is forced to return to Colorado. Even though it's been six years, and the wolves of her all-male pack don't recognize her, she recognizes them. People who shun others because of their gender are hard to forget. Especially Liam Kolane—son of Heath, the crudest and cruelest Alpha to have ruled the Boulder Pack. Liam is as handsome as he is infuriating, as kind as he is punishing, and he makes Ness's traitorous heart race, which isn't good. After all, he's a Kolane.

I wasn't sure if I was going to like this book after hearing the narrator in the first few minutes. But I ended up really enjoying the story and the enemies to lovers aspect. I am definitely interested in finding out more about the world of the Boulder pack, and seeing resolution to the series arc.
Though there were random instances with odd word choice that would make me pause. Such as "I wrapped my phalanges around his." Or something to that effect. Why use "phalanges" when "fingers" would do?
The narrator was a bit flat would have liked to hear more emotion from her. There were also often parts with a loud air like static that should have been edited out. However she wasn't difficult to listen to, mostly unseasoned in her craft. Her accent for the only POC(who is also designated to being the help) is cringe worthy.
While my "negative" comments were longer, but I honestly enjoyed this book quite a bit and would recommend it. I would say the negative is really only about 3% of the book at most.

Story
There are several things I've always known growing up as the alpha's daughter. The most important ones being: My twin brother Cord was the perfect choice as successor to our father. Mostly because I wanted nothing to do with being an alpha-in-training. I had two of the best friends a girl could ever ask for: Cord and Augie. Then everything changed when my brother was murdered, and I found myself needing to prove to my father I was more than capable of finishing what Cord started.

It was different than what I was expecting and I ended up enjoying it. At the end I wished it was a little longer.
