Story
When his mother became President, Alex Claremont-Diaz was promptly cast as the American equivalent of a young royal. Handsome, charismatic, genius—his image is pure millennial-marketing gold for the White House. There's only one problem: Alex has a beef with the actual prince, Henry, across the pond. And when the tabloids get hold of a photo involving an Alex-Henry altercation, U.S./British relations take a turn for the worse.

Don’t understand the hype gay mills and boon
Reviewed: 05-10-21
I was really excited about the book … such a let down and I genuinely don’t understand the love for it .. is it simply because it discusses a gay relationship? If this was a heterosexual love story I think mills and boon would just about have considered good enough to publish. They may pushed it out as teen lit. Also i found the extended love scenes simplistic and awkward. Narration cringe worthy.

Story
An unambitious 22 year-old, Darren lives in a Brooklyn brownstone with his mother, who wants nothing more than to see him live up to his potential. But Darren is content working at Starbucks in the lobby of a Manhattan office building, hanging out with his girlfriend, Soraya and eating his mother's home-cooked meals. All that changes when a chance encounter with Rhett Daniels, the silver-tongued CEO of Sumwun, NYC's hottest tech startup, results in an exclusive invitation for Darren to join an elite sales team on the 36th floor.

Story
There’s a moment, when you meet someone new, when the connection is so strong that making a friend can feel like falling in love. That’s how it was for Connie and Ness. They met in the park while their children played, and as they talked, they realised they were neighbours. Perhaps it was only natural that they and their families would become entirely inseparable. But when Ness’ marriage ends in a bitter divorce, she is suddenly at Connie’s house all the time. Connie doesn’t have a moment to herself, no time alone with her husband, not a second to chat to her kids.

Powerful but depressing
Reviewed: 23-03-19
Deep well written book. Just a bit too bleak and painful for me. - I need a bit more hope and sunshine. Left me feeling a bit depressed at tines. Has some hugely powerful insights and moments - but a bit like the moments you share at funerals - powerful thought provoking and ultimately sad. I’ve given the performance and story 5 * as they are brilliant. But overal ** as just too harrowing for me
