Captain Axel Finn has spent his life running salvage missions with an alien crew and their war bot. This motley group has found refuge on his ship from their own tumultuous pasts. But little do any of them know, beneath his gentle demeanor, their steadfast captain is far from the peace following, adventure seeking giant of a man they all love. Ryland Grace is the sole survivor on a desperate, last-chance mission - and if he fails, humanity and the Earth itself will perish. Except that right now, he doesn"t know that. He can"t even remember his own name, let alone the nature of his assignment or how to complete it. All he knows is that he"s been asleep for a very, very long time. And he"s just been awakened to find himself millions of miles from home, with nothing but two corpses for company.

It"s funnier than I expected, a lot of laugh out loud moments. Also makes you think though, with plenty of twists, and I got blindsided by a few of them. Brilliant book, and I hope the upcoming film is as good.

The galaxy is doomed. Monkeys may be clever and too stubborn to give up, but Skippy The Idiot Who Got Played knows the harsh truth: this is a fight he can’t win. The odds are not only stacked against him, he was designed not to win this fight. Maybe he can salvage some faint memory of the civilizations that inhabit the galaxy, but those beings are doomed. Doomed. Including the Merry Band of Pirates.

Well, that"s all folks. but as big a story arc as it was, it"s brought to a satisfying conclusion. Bray knocks it out of the park as usual, and the banter and laughs mix well with the seriousness and heartbreak. This is one happy monkey, but also sad that there will be no more of the incomparable awesomeness that is Skippy. Or will there.........

My name is Kazimir Wolfe. People call me "Kaz", except they don’t. I never use my real name; it’s too dangerous, for me and for anyone I meet. I’m on the run from the law, who think I killed my aunt, and from whoever did kill her, because they want to finish the job. So, I move around a lot, working construction or whatever job I can find. It’s a lonely life. I don’t let anyone get close...people who get close to me end up dead. Why? I’m a wizard. The world’s only wizard, as far as I know.

It’s simple: 100 percent Grade-A extreme awesomeness. And also because he had never been faced with an opponent of equal power. Until now. The problem with lying about having a super weapon is that the bad guys might believe they have nothing to lose by doing something stupid that both sides will regret. Or, they might just call your bluff. Either way, the Merry Band of Pirates need a plan to deal with the Fallout.
