Story
The Bodies of Others is about how we came to the harrowing civilizational crossroads at which we find ourselves—engaged in a war against vast impersonal forces with limitless power over our lives and which threaten the freedoms we have always taken for granted. In her most provocative book yet, Dr. Naomi Wolf shows how these forces—from Big Tech and Big Pharma to the CCP and our oligarchical elites—seized upon two years of COVID-19 panic in sinister new ways, to not only undermine our republic but to fundamentally reorient human relations.

but it had to be and Naomi Wolf treats this serious matter both very seriously and beautifully.
Thank you Naomi for auditing this pandemic testimony for yourself, your nation and the world.

Story
In this long-awaited and candid memoir, Hitchens re-traces the footsteps of his life to date, from his childhood in Portsmouth, with his adoring, tragic mother and reserved Naval officer father; to his life in Washington DC, the base from which from he would launch fierce attacks on tyranny of all kinds. Along the way, he recalls the girls, boys and booze; the friendships and the feuds; the grand struggles and lost causes; and the mistakes and misgivings that have characterised his life.

A life of letters in words
Reviewed: 04-08-20
It's a well formed and hopefully as honest account of a life as one can listen to, let down only by Hitch himself and his occasional laconic and indecipherable oration. There were a few surprises in here for me and so as a biography was all the better for those. Thanks Hitch, you're sorely missed.
