Story
In her new book, the Sunday Times and New York Times best-selling author of Damaged tells the story of the Dawn, a sweet and seemingly well-balanced girl whose outward appearance masks a traumatic childhood of suffering at the hands of the very people who should have cared for her. Dawn was the first girl Cathy Glass ever fostered. Sweet and seemingly well balanced girl, Dawn's outward appearance masked a traumatic childhood so awful, that even she could not remember it.

Story
Aneta and Filip, the children’s parents, are distraught when their children are taken into care. Aneta maintains she is innocent of harming them, while Filip appears bewildered and out of his depth. It’s true the family has never come to the attention of the social services before, and little Kit and Molly appear to have been well looked after, but Kit has a broken arm and bruises on his face. Could it be they were a result of a genuine accident, as Aneta is claiming?

Wow couldn’t yet again
Couldn’t put the book down really help me see what goes on behind closed doors I was so overwhelmed the book portrayed how a young person goes through our social services have a lot to deal with and we wouldn’t be both the foster carer like café in the book and lots of children would never have a life without the foster carer is helping them. I just couldn’t help my heart paints when I saw what children, will have to deal with didn’t have much in the matter but this story was one story. I would probably read again again thank you Cathy thank you very much.
