I"ve read and listened to so many books on adhd and yet Ned Hallowell never fails to find a new insight on the subject. He writes with such authenticity and also with a balance of the blessings and the curse of adhd that so many other clinicians lack! Thank you for your lifetime of work on this subject. 🙂

Story
Fern Brady was told she couldn"t be autistic because she"s had loads of boyfriends and is good at eye contact. This is a story of how being female can get in the way of being autistic and how being autistic gets in the way of being the "right kind" of woman.

Story
For many women, creeps are a serious, ubiquitous, pervasive problem. They seem to be everywhere. Not only do they pester us in public, but some are capable of worming their way into our social life, poisoning our experiences. For many men, creeps are like unicorns: They hear about them a lot, but they never actually see one. Even when they do, they don’t understand what the fuss is all about. This books aims to bridge that gap by explaining the nature of creeps, how and why they manage to infiltrate our social circles, and how we can best deal with them in a safe and timely manner.

Particularly useful chapter on neuro divergence and relationships. So useful - written with great style and humour and the narrator is easy to listen to and gets the message across well!
