Story
David Icke has become world-famous for his work exposing today’s fast-unfolding global dystopia more than three decades before it became reality. They laughed then. But he didn’t stop there. He went further. Icke knew that the world of the "seen" was only a reflection of something far deeper that ultimately originates with a non-human force in another reality.

Story
David Icke has been writing books for decades warning that current events were coming. He has faced ridicule and abuse for saying that the end of human freedom was being planned, how, and by whom. The Trap is the "Rosetta Stone" of illusory reality and opens the door to freedom in its greatest sense. Listen to this book and the "world" will never look the same again. The veil of illusion shall be swept aside and the amazing truth this has kept from us shall set you free.

Off to get The Dream now.

Story
For Dr. David Beck, the loss was shattering. And every day for the past eight years, he has relived the horror of what happened. The gleaming lake. The pale moonlight. The piercing screams. The night his wife was taken. The last night he saw her alive. Everyone tells him it's time to move on, to forget the past once and for all. But for David Beck, there can be no closure. A message has appeared on his computer, a phrase only he and his dead wife know. Suddenly Beck is taunted with the impossible—that somewhere, somehow, Elizabeth is alive.

Bring back Jan Cramer
Reviewed: 22-05-23
Sorry, but Lianne's attempts at a 'brummie' accent are pitiful. It's almost impossible to bring forth the image of DS Mo Udden created from Jan's interpretation and after listening to her in the Dorset Crime & Zoe Finch Series', I have to say Lianne just isn't up to scratch, for me. Lianne's take on Dr Petra McBride is ok, but again, Jan is Number 1 for me.
Having said that I enjoyed the story overall and look forward to learning more about the new Characters.

Librarian Sylvia Ashe knows nothing about her past, having grown up without a father and a mother who refused to discuss him. When she stumbles upon a diary that suggests she's descended from magicians, she's skeptical. After all, magicians are special, and she's just an ordinary woman who loves books. She seeks answers from a member of the most prominent family of magicians, but she quickly learns that finding the truth won't be easy, especially when he turns out to be as artless as her, and more compelling and dangerous than books.

When Chief Inspector Armand Gamache is asked to provide crowd control at a statistics lecture given at the Université de l'Estrie in Quebec, he is dubious. Why ask the head of homicide to provide security for what sounds like a minor, even mundane lecture? But dangerous ideas about who deserves to live in order for society to thrive are rapidly gaining popularity, fuelled by the research of the eminent Professor Abigail Robinson. Yet for every person seduced by her theories, there is another who is horrified by them.

'The Plandemic'
Reviewed: 20-08-22
I cannot even give the story a decent score because I could not get passed chapter 3.
I have always loved this series and have listened to them all up to now; thoroughly enjoying the expert narration by Adam Sims.
But..... the persistent, and unnecessary mentioning of 'The Pandemic', has totally put me off. It has not added to the story, (so far as I got), and simply seems gratuitous virtue signalling. It was bad enough going through such a time without the placement of 'The Pandemic' at every opportunity.
Really spoiled it for me. I will be requesting a refund.

Story
Weeks before NYPD Detective Michael Bennett is to marry his long-time love, Mary Catherine, an assassin announces their presence in the city with a string of murders. All of the victims are young women. And each has been killed in a manner as precise as it was gruesome. Tasked with working alongside the FBI, Bennett uncovers multiple cold-case homicides across the country that fit the same distinctive pattern. Bennett promises Mary Catherine that the case won't affect their upcoming wedding. But, as he struggles to connect the killings, Bennett may be walking into a deadly trap.

Sorry Ari Fliakos, but after enjoying several books with Danny narrating the characters in the Michael Bennett series, your take on the characters was a big let down and your Irish accents are appalling.
Another good story by Patterson though.
