Story
Guy Montag is a fireman. In his world, where television rules and literature is on the brink of extinction, firemen start fires rather than put them out. His job is to destroy the most illegal of commodities, the printed book, along with the houses in which they are hidden. Montag never questions the destruction and ruin his actions produce, returning each day to his bland life and wife, Mildred, who spends all day with her television "family."

Absolutely brilliant in every way possible. From the storyline that seems to describe the issues of our societies like a complete lack of attention span among the youths, who never can stop scrolling through TikTok. To the performance by Tim Robbins. I mean WOW, SIR! You have some talent!

Story
The war raged across the galaxy. Billions had died, billions more were doomed. Moons, planets, the very stars themselves, faced destruction - cold-blooded, brutal, and worse, random. The Idirans fought for their Faith; the Culture for its moral right to exist. Principles were at stake. There could be no surrender. Within the cosmic conflict, an individual crusade....

Narrator takes the crown in that audiobook.
Story would be extremely interesting, entertaining and educative in an aspect of futurology if it's text would be vastly reduced.
There are too many really pointless descriptions.
However very worthy of listening or reading is epilogue where the concept for a story is described.

Neal Stephenson is a blazing new force on the sci-fi scene. With the groundbreaking cyberpunk novel Snow Crash, he has "vaulted onto the literary stage." It weaves virtual reality, Sumerian myth, and just about everything in between with a cool, hip cybersensibility - in short, it is the gigathriller of the information age.

As I live and work in China for several years, I had opportunity to witness first hand transformative developments described in the book. Some commentators - especially those from US - accuse Mr Lee of strong biased towards China. I disagree although I understand where their mistake of judgment originates from. It's basically lack of experience.
Book describes AI more from practical and philosophical rather than technical point of view.

Story
Jesse Livermore was a loner, an individualist - and the most successful stock trader who ever lived. Written shortly before his death in 1940, How to Trade Stocks offered traders their first account of that famously tight-lipped operator's trading system. Written in Livermore's inimitable, no-nonsense style, it interweaves fascinating autobiographical and historical details with step-by-step guidance. In this new edition of that classic, trader and top Livermore expert Richard Smitten sheds new light on Jesse Livermore's philosophy.
