An unconventional and beautiful story of 2 unlikely protagonists of a romance story. What's "normal" anyway? 😉

Sometimes a chance at happiness and new beginnings require ending some painful chapters. Great book and outstanding narration with quality voice-acting, both male and female (although I am always biased in favour of Chris Brinkley), no wonder they got an award.

Strongly recommend !!!

I love a well written story about neurodivergeant protagonists and Heart Smart just future the bill! Excellent narration brought the story to life beautifully.

Enjoyed every minute of it. It was nice to discover an imperfect male protagonist with great character development. Amazing narration by Chris Brinkley makes this audiobook just delicious to listen to.

This might not be everyone's cup of tea but to me it was just amazing. Picture the kind-hearted, gorgeous Beau first hating, then crushing on a stunning female protagonist with issues. He takes her under his wing, takes care of her, and accompanies her in her healing journey. Everyone deserves to be loved. Thanks for reminding us, Penny Reid.

Absolutely loved every minute of it. Not only is it a beautiful story of love, pain, ambition, poverty, and addiction but both male and female narrators did a fantastic job. Thank you all so much.

Perhaps the least liked book of LB Dunbar. Less sex and more story, please. I do not dislike steamy scenes when they serve the plot. Here, they were in the way.

Loved the vulnerability of the male protagonist and the growth journey of the female protagonist. Both narrators were great, but as usual, Chris Brinkley's voice acting was out of this world. Seriously enjoyed the story.

A few days ago, someone said that Love in a Pickle made her like Scotia Simmons, yes THAT Scotia Simmons from The Winston Brothers by Penny Reid.

I was intrigued, so I checked it out, and I am in awe. L.B. Dunbar outdid herself and created a complicated and complex female protagonist who hides behind the mask of a mean girl to protect herself.

I wasn't sure I was going to buy it, as Penelope Reid had done an amazing job making us despise Scotia, but I did buy into her new persona. Well done, LB Dunbar. 👏🏻

Loved the audiobook, and once again, Chris Brinkley's voice is just perfection. He narrates and voice acts like no one else. Strongly recommend.

Penny Reid is exceptional at creating the most unexpected and flawed protagonists and make them extremely relatable and easy to like and admire. Their journey is an inspiration for us and the narration is just wonderful. Joy Nash is so talented and Chris Brinkley is an outstanding voice-actor and I am totally addicted to his voice. More of this please.
