Story
Colin Hancock is giving his second chance his best shot. At 28, he's focused only on walking a straight line - getting his teaching degree, working out at the gym religiously, and avoiding all the places and people that proved so destructive in his earlier life. The last thing he's looking for is a serious relationship. But when Maria Sanchez crosses paths with him on a rainswept night in North Carolina, his plans are upended in a way that will rattle the foundations of his carefully structured life.

All told this was very good, a bit draggy in parts as in could have been edited down a bit, irrelevant characters getting too much page time, lawyer sections, etc. Good love story, a unique hero with MMA, ADHD, good mystery, excellent secondary characters (the bad guy becomes good guy cop and his best friends southern belle fiancé) Very exciting, action filled ending interrupted by some random music which took me out of the zone. I also felt like this was. at least in part written with the big screen in mind as most of Nicholas Sparks books get made into movies and now he writes with that in mind. LOL This would make a good movie though. Narration was great, all characters had their own voice.

Hailey Taylor Emery has a hunch that her favorite client at Fetch - an anonymous virtual assistant service - is actually hockey star Matt Eriksson. Although it's against the rules for her to check his file, she's 95 percent sure she spends at least part of each day texting with her lifelong crush and catering to his every need. Still nursing a wounded heart thanks to her recent breakup, Hailey is perfectly content with some harmless online flirting...until she has to meet her client.

This a pretty great series, fun, sexy, Canadian hockey and Jacob Morgan. In saying that this narration needed more Jacob and less Lucy Rivers. I literally gave a little cheer every time it switched from Lucy to Jacob. Her voice grated on me especially when she did male voices and children. Yikes. Anyways I enjoyed this, two divorcees finding each other. Matt's ex was excellent to hate, the dog was fun, Matt was yummy, Blake Riley (Good Boy) made a couple of appearances and he's always a good time, the poker game was hilarious.

Another great entry into the Longmire series, this time transplanting Walt and the Bear into Philadelphia after Walt's daughter is gravely injured. George Guidall makes this, he is just prefect as the narrator. Lots of action, some mysticism and Walt getting beat up as per. A surprising sexual encounter and a bitter sweet ending. I Loved the ending.

Excellent narrator but not much else

Fabulous narrator in Keiran Elliott, who makes this mediocre story worth the listen. Unfortunately he doesn't seem to have anything else available here on Audible. Story is simple, uncomplicated, and unoriginal. Not much chemistry between the H/h and a very icky/awkward first romantic encounter. Worth a listen through for Keiran's Scottish brough.

Story
Hosting her brother's wedding for an MVP guest list is the challenge of Jess Canning's life. Already the family screw-up, she can't afford to fail. And nobody (nobody!) can learn of the colossal mistake she made with the best man during a weak moment last spring. It was wrong, and there will not be a repeat. Absolutely not. Even if he is the sexiest thing on two legs.

Blake Riley gets the girl

Fantastic continuation of the Him/Us series. I feel like these characters are my friends. Blake Riley so glad you got your own book, you were absolute gold in Us and made this story, so funny and goofy, had me smiling a lot. I enjoyed Teddy Hamilton as his narrator, Tanya Eby, not so much, she made Jess sound too old and often robotic. I gave a little cheer every time we switched to Teddy/Blake. Sweet romance without any obstacles, set in Canada which was a refreshing change. Sarina Bowen & Elle Kennedy, nicely done.
