Story
It's instinct that drives Finn Malone to rescue a bunch of hard-battling honey badgers. The Siberian tiger-shifter just can't bear to see his fellow shifters harmed. But no way can Finn have a houseful of honey badgers when he also has two brothers with no patience. Things just go from bad to worse when the badgers rudely ejected from his home turn out to be the only ones who can help him solve a family tragedy. He's just not sure he can even get back into the badgers' good graces. Since badgers lack graces of any kind.

All over the place

The first 1/4 of the book jumps from pov to pov. This is compounded by unimportant background information, like the history of the football coach, you are constantly trying to make sense of the stories direction. As a huge fan of the author up to now I was surprised and disappointed.

Why would I read about a girl in a world where women have no rights. The book left me feeling sad, frustrated, and angry. I am not wasting more time reading a book that makes me feel bad. That said, the writing is solid and if the world was fairer, or the MC was a fighter maybe I could stick it out, but nope just bad turn after bad turn with no signs of it getting better.

Story
A supervillain from the city of Grayville has made a big mistake: He stole from one of my companies. Now he is on my radar, and it's only a matter of time before I find him, and of course, murder him. Ironically, the only thing preventing me from bringing the unknown douchebag to final justice is Grayville’s famous law-abiding superhero: The Shadow Knight. But even a hero as accomplished as the Shadow Knight can’t stop me and my team from ending the super villain threat. And if Shadow Knight won’t accept that, he might have to die as well.

Disappointing villian
Reviewed: 2020-04-22
I saw early on that this was going to be a batman / joker parody but was disappointed that the main villain wasn’t the interesting one. Also there wasn’t a Harley Quinn knock-off for our hero to seduce. Very disappointed that the next villain (shows up in the epilogue) doesn’t seem the type to work with a sexy sidekick. Missed opportunity.

Felt like I was in a sexual harassment seminar
Reviewed: 2019-07-04
I gave this book 6 hours of my life I'll never get back for the narrators alone. They are the only redeeming property. Maybe i could have liked the kick butt female lead if she actually backed up her personality with actions, but she just kept taking the main romantic males 'unwanted' sexual advances. Books like this make people doubt 'no means no' and that alone makes it a fail for me. Alpha males getting the girl by pushing and not taking no for an answer and generally being a predator is so sexist and just wrong.
