Story
More than two centuries after World War III poisoned the planet, the final bastion of humanity lives on massive airships circling the globe in search of a habitable area to call home. Aging and outdated, most of the ships plummeted back to Earth long ago. The only thing keeping the two surviving lifeboats in the sky are Hell Divers - men and women who risk their lives by skydiving to the surface to scavenge for parts the ships desperately need.

Meh…

Performance was great as usual from RC Bray but the story was only ok. It was free, so no harm in listening, but I definitely wouldn't waste a credit on it and I won't bother to continue this series unless its very cheap or free.

Story
The Saurian threat has been defeated, and the eastern border has been made safe once again. With the end of the campaign, Valian looks forward to peace and prosperity for his newly established house, but fate has other ideas. A dark corruption is taking hold in Tor’s Rest, strengthened by the avarice and ambition of those in power. Shunned by those he called allies, cornered by those he called enemies, Valian must decide how far he’s willing to go in order to combat the chaos sweeping throughout the land.

More fluff

Entertaining enough but quite a bit of fluff (pun intended). The first book was free so I didn’t mind spending the credit, way overpriced if actually paid for. Performance was great and probably saved it for me.

Story
Ryan "Quicksave" Romano is an eccentric adventurer with a strange power: he can create a save-point in time and redo his life whenever he dies. Arriving in New Rome, the glitzy capital of sin of a rebuilding Europe, he finds the city torn between mega-corporations, sponsored heroes, super-powered criminals, and true monsters. It's a time of chaos, where potions can grant the power to rule the world and dangers lurk everywhere.

Story
My name is Kazimir Wolfe. People call me "Kaz", except they don’t. I never use my real name; it’s too dangerous, for me and for anyone I meet. I’m on the run from the law, who think I killed my aunt, and from whoever did kill her, because they want to finish the job. So, I move around a lot, working construction or whatever job I can find. It’s a lonely life. I don’t let anyone get close...people who get close to me end up dead. Why? I’m a wizard. The world’s only wizard, as far as I know.

Too much blah blah blah!!!

I’m a huge fan of the Expeditionary Force series so I was very much looking forward to this. However, it could have been half the length and still been too long. It feels like 1/3 of the book is arguing with a dog... and loosing! RC Bray was not the right voice for this either, this is supposed to be from the perspective of a very young adult, and although I love RC's style and delivery in most books, he does not in any way come off as a young adult. I like the author a lot and will likely give book 2 (if there is one) a chance, I hope it flows better, but I will be a bit skeptical.
