Story
Beckett: If you’re reading this, well, you know the last-letter drill. You made it. I didn’t. Get off the guilt train, because I know if there was any chance you could have saved me, you would have. I need one thing from you: get out of the army and get to Telluride. My little sister Ella’s raising the twins alone. She’s too independent and won’t accept help easily, but she has lost our grandmother, our parents, and now me. It’s too much for anyone to endure. And here’s the kicker: there’s something else you don’t know that’s tearing her family apart.

Story
I probably didn't make a great first impression. Rushing through his apartment door - practically naked aside from the plastic shower cap on my head - and charging for his bathroom as if my skin was on fire. What was I supposed to do? Wait around for a white knight to swoop through my bathroom window with a wrench and a toilet plunger to save me from my faulty plumbing situation? Insert eye roll here. Anyway, that's the story of how I met my new landlord.

Male narrator voice is weird and confusing
Reviewed: 2023-05-30
It’s an OK story, but what drove me crazy was the male voice. It kept switching from an American accent to a cross between a British/Australian/Irish accent. Awful! At least get a narrator with a proper British accent. It kept throwing the story line off for me.

Story
They say that all men are created equal. Well, that’s a blatant lie! I know, because I met God's gift to women in Vegas; I pretended he was my husband to get rid of another man. He took our fake marriage seriously, and it became his personal goal to consummate. He spoke to me in French, and I lied to him in German. His laughter was addictive. But I thought what happens in Vegas would stay in Vegas. Until it didn't.

Way too long
Reviewed: 2023-04-07
The story is way too long. It feels like the author just kept adding random stuff. Also the main male character Cameron almost comes office borderline abusive the way he talks to the girlfriend. Personally for me it does not come off is attractive or romantic..

I was watching the Netflix series and was disappointed when it did not get picked up for a second season. I thought I would listen to the book. However, I did not enjoy the book at all! If you’ve watched the show don’t read the book!

Story
It's been 10 years since I've seen him. Ten years. I have no idea what he's doing, where he's been, or if he's even still single. Have I thought about him over the years? Of course. Absolutely. But that doesn't mean anything, right? Just because you think about the boy you used to be in love with doesn't mean you're still in love with him now. Does it?

Female Narrator voice sucks

Although the storyline is not bad, the female voice is awful. It sounds raspy, dull and old. The mail voice is nice and sexy however the female voice being so awful makes it hard to listen to the story.

I did enjoy reading the book, and you do fall in love with the characters. However, it did get ridiculous after a while seeing how many times they try to find each other and couldn’t. The first few times fine, but the fact that it kept happening got boring. How many bad things can happen to one person?

I had high hopes for this book, but found it quite boring. Her stories are a little repetitive. It’s like any other spiritual or self-help book. I would invest in Jay Shetty’s book. It is much better!
