Story
Rose Winter has enough problems. With a marriage going down the tubes and a dreaded anniversary party on the horizon, the last thing she needs is the zombie apocalypse. She wanted to get drunk and sing karaoke, not murder her undead neighbors. It’s clear the party’s over, however, now Rose has more problems - a missing husband, an overbearing houseguest, and keeping her family alive.

I don’t know how I ended up listening to this. I would never choose a Zombie story. The book is very good. The zombies could just be any world crisis. The story is about human survival. Week developed characters and family turmoil.

Listened to complete books. Stories were good. Narrator excellent. The graphic violence is more than I generally enjoy. I will not be listening to further in the series.

For most of the last hundred years, Biloxi was known for its beaches, resorts, and seafood industry. But it had a darker side. It was also notorious for corruption and vice, everything from gambling, prostitution, bootleg liquor, and drugs to contract killings. The vice was controlled by small cabal of mobsters, many of them rumored to be members of the Dixie Mafia.
