This story really took me by surprise. A lot of things in this story is incredible unique. 🙌🏻 It's quite I lovely change from an otherwise samey yet amazing story.

Also I finally get the wish of a much longer book! Instead of the shorter 6-7 hour books in which I really, really feel is not enough to tell the story in a lot of point of view and have satisfying length and ending.

I absolutely love all of the books in this series so far don't get wrong. However they are great storylines that I felt like heard of before. I like eating our most favourite foods. At least for me, despite of them being my most favourite foods. I get used to them.
Eventually I forget how amazing those foods are. Just like some of our favourite books.
So really appreciate the change of pace.

This story is more less stereotypical love. I feel that there is very real life tragic and very hard physical change that a lot of people face. Not a lot of people get dealt by fate equally no matter how they are.
That's why I felt Brent's story really resonated with me. His hardships with his parent and isolation hits hard for me.
Jon in the other hand felt like that guy I wanted to be and a guy I wanted to be with. So responsable, extremely kind and patient. His see the good inside a person where everyone else see only the surface layer. These two are a match in heaven.
L.A. Witt's book is quite enthralling.

All that combined with incredible narrators with voices that can convey emotions like a movies star is just outstanding that I can't even bring it into words. Greg Boudreaux, John Solo are so fantastic that I wonder why haven't heard much of their narrations before. The way deliver emotions through vocal is very much like of that of a voice actors. I felt real raw emotions that I only get to feel with blockbuster movies. It's really quite a treat listen to this.

Gabe and Alec story is super inspiring. Alec being such a gentleman really pull on my heart strings. Whilst Gabe is more like a really cute nerdy guy that's super naive much like myself.

I really wish the whole plot could be more longer before the conclusion. The whole crime concluded so fast. I wish more time is added. 6 hours of it is not enough.

A usually these super talented men narrating and acting are beyond amazing. I think just like Iggy Toma, Cooper North really complements Tim Paige really well.

I love the fantastic voice acting of Alexander Cendece every time. he's so funny, and on point in each story scenes. Kirt Grave is very good to but can be a little bit slow and the tone of the voice he uses is something I don't really prefer.

The story is really cute and heart-melting. As a guy with anxiety. I love the tenderness of Finn he gives to his man. He's really perfect husband to have.

As always Saxon James' amazing writing makes me want more. It's just way too short for me. I want to hear more of these men.
Both men and so lovely and not at all annoyingly self-sabotaging towards each other, unlike the other author's books.
Saxon James books are always so heart-melting from what I read so far.

I wish we could have a more extended story about these two lovely men after they committed to their relationship. I can never get enough of their sweet dates and hot steaming scenes together.

They show us the importance of communication, emotional connection, and understanding. It goes beyond comforting friendship and accepting someone for who they are. It's all that and so much more.

But also the emphatic emotional connection is the biggest factor for falling in love. Being with the same emotional wavelength as another man like when Beau gets as angry and broken as Payne when he told Beau told him about his story.
True love doesn't judge. It is not blind either. Love can see all we are. all our emotions, hurt and memories but it just accept us unconditionally regardless

See, once you fall in love with the guy, you really can't keep yourself from falling more and more; the more time you spend with him. I learn that the very hard way. Falling in love with your straight best friend is the worst. A guy you are supposed to run for a shoulder to lean on; for comfort when your heart breaking.

Unfortunately, the only way the stop falling in love is to stop meeting and spending time with them for a while. Until you process all those emotions. Accept the facts by telling him you have feelings for him and you need time for yourself; if he doesn't want a relationship. Or
If you're lucky he might be feeling something you'll never know. Sometimes there are things we don't notice our best friends do because our minds already decided what we think about it. Sometimes we are oblivious that he is in love with us because we try so hard not the fall in love further.

The fact that it's being narrated and performed by Nick J. Russo makes this even more divine. His acting never fails to impress me in so many ways. I think he's super underrated. The way he can manipulate his voice in so many amazing ways is truly awesome to me.

Alexander Cendece and Tim Paige make this book truly worth it. Their "narration" is more of a performance and acting. It's delightful for me. I always never go wrong with them being narrators.

I kind of disagree with someone's comment they're talking too fast. I mean that's literally how I and most people fluent in English talk; always. Especially me, ADHD makes me a fast talker.
However, I do understand that for those still learning English might be a very hard time. But that doesn't mean it's the narrator's fault they can't keep a with some words; is it? They're not talking that fast at all.

Eden Finley's stories are always so sweet and heart-melting. It's not very stressful and I can just focus on the lovely story. There's no stupid self-sabotaging drama like books I read that annoys me.

Isaac "Iris" Griffin and Brock "Saint" Harlow's relationship is one of those soldiers' dream romances.
Falling into love can be very hard when two men have extremely different lives and emotional connections and wavelength is a hard match.
That is one of the reasons these two guys can emotionally connect. Not just a friend who has sympathy and shoulders to lean on; But much much beyond that.
They have a complete emotional connection right at the very beginning of their re-acquaintance. They know the score. They both saw the extremely dangerous, horrible images and nightmarish trauma their careers can put them through in an instant. Knowing that every day can be your last day. Much more than most people. Loving another soldier is much scarier. At that moment, you suddenly have a guy to care about much more than your life; and a guy caring about you much more than himself.
An amazing story that I wish lasted much longer. I would've loved to see more of these two men's relationship from their perspective.

This is quickly becoming my most favourite book series. These being narrated by Iggy Toma and Alexander Cendece, just makes everything perfect. They are such an incredible pair of narrators. I personally think they're the one best of the best. The way they put emotions into their voice is very awe inspiring. Also they put action hints into their voices like being talking while drunk, chewing and talking, laughing while talking, chocking up with emotions while talking, sighing etc.; especially Alexander Cendece.
I noticed that extremely few narrators even tries to do this things.
The other few I can remember that do this Micheal Dean/Pauley and Teddy Hamilton sometimes depending on the book.

I love the very light hearted and light weight story line.
I think we don't need a very emotionally heavy stories all the time. Even though I love it sometimes due to a important but heavy discussion it may encourages; although it's not a requirement. We can still discuss important subjects with light hearted narrative.
However, maybe it's better to have a light hearted story like these most of the time.

Seeing Oskar's life is his perspective is really amazing. I met people just like him. It really does take one person to understand them right; to completely change them and dismantle their walls coping mechanisms. A person just like Lane.
Some people does weird things because they're weird and that's okay. Most people does weird things not because they're weird or bad, but because they're horribly misunderstood like Oskar.
That other's dont like them in a personal level and thinks they're weird. Also because they got almost nothing to lose; They get even more reckless and act out.

If we are subjected enough to negative social interactions. It can break us: hurts us; even if only slightly. Every hurt is a wound which the brain subconscious tries to bandage with a mask. A mask literally all of us have with other people around to some degree.

However if it hurts us enough even more multiple times emotionally; we start building that wall. Slowly but surely, a mask turns into a thick wall.
If it happens enough we build a wall so big and so thick that we don't even know who we are anymore. Eventually we going to start thinking we are the wall we built. Since those thick walls is what people will see. The idea that we are the wall gets more and more enforced.

Despite that though, our truest self is always deep inside those thick walls and still hurting but it's now neglected and forgotten.
Those hurt and emotions still retaliating and controlling us in many unpredictable ways like child being neglected and throwing a tantrum.

it just takes one person; one guy like Lane willing enough to start seeing through those thick walls. Seeing things for what they are. A guy that separates the walls from the mansion. A guy that tries not to judge Oskar's walls but sees it for what it is: an emotional protection.

After the first book, This book is really so much of an upgrade for me.
I always have a love for friends/enemies to lovers romance.

Being narrated by Alexander Cendace and Iggy Toma as always make every books' immersion rocket up into stratospheric level. I do feel like we don't give these guys, or every narrator who are basically voice actors enough credit. The amount of immersive experience they provide is absolutely outstanding. For me, reading amazing books are incredibly amazing but reading a books that's narrated by these guys is just give pure bliss very time.

The book being really heart warming is also another thing.
Julian and Daniel is amazingly cute together in the most heartfelt way. The way the story emphasize the absolute importance of communication, trust, honesty is truly inspiring.

It's simplest yet the most effective and most important thing to do on any relationship.
However, it might also be one of the most hardest thing to do in a relationship. Then again, any romantic relationship in of itself is very scary and can be so difficult.
This simple yet important gesture; Honesty and trust, is the most effective and efficient way to keep building a healthy long term relationship.

Some people believe on soulmate, some in fate, others in lack of faith for themselves.
I believe relationship is what we make them and what we do with it. Sure many of us might experience bad fate and there are times where luck seems to run out completely. But I think it's a most of the time we can still make it the way we wanted it to be. Sure might very difficult but that always a given in a relationship.

Most of us can make our own path of fate. Others might confuse other people's path as their's.
It's when people give up and "leave things to fate" is the moment they choose path that isn't their's. It's when trauma, emotions, and memories of the past choose our fate for us in the present and therefore our future.

It's important to differentiate what we truly want, from what our emotional trauma of the past make us do which what we often thought is what we want.

Are we afraid of the future because it's a true unknown that never happened before? Is it a realistic future in anyway?

Or are we afraid of the future because we will become like our past? A very much realistic future that did happened already?

Worse still, are we making the future like our past due making action based on negative emotions?

A self-fulfilling prophecy: A self-sabotage.
We are scared of the past emotions so much that the more we avoid the emotions for it the more our future became our traumatic past ironically.
One the keeps going on and on like orbiting a planet full of the traumatic emotional black hole.

I found that one of the solutions is to just stop fighting our own emotions. Emotions both positive and negative are equally important: very, very important.

They are in of itself a communication system that our subconscious make to our consciousness.
Just like an other relationship, A healthy relationship with ourselves involves honesty and trust to ourselves and the emotions we are feeling.
A communication spoken not words and thoughts but through emotions. We need feel those emotions and not fight them. Just like any other relationship, it's very painful, scary and hard thing to do. Although it's some things we must do in order to move on.

For how can we trust and be honest with the person we love if we don't even give to ourselves the same.
Do we even know how trust and honesty truly is; if we never even given some to ourselves?

I know this book might be incredibly up lifted by the narrator of Iggy Toma and Alexander Cendace. I mean they always been a superhero voice actors narrators. I always, always forget that I'm listening to one narrative per chapter. they're just so incredible.
Though I recognise that the book it's far from what it could have been. I still think the book itself is pretty amazing.

Overall the story is pretty light hearted and pretty sweet. However I do think making it more longer could have tie up a some of the story beats very nicely.
I find that sometimes scene transitions are very quick. Which can be disorienting a bit. The whole mystery of the story is quite weird sadly. it's pretty quick and didn't have enough time to evolve and progress coherently into a climate.
Though, that's not a big deal because the book is not really labelled as crime/mystery genre.
What's more disappointing is the resolution of Everett's struggles letting go of his husband. This book could really use more longer length to really give us more details on how Everett and Silas relationships evolve more slowly and resolve into the very fine ending we had. I feel like we just speed run into the very nice and very heart warming ending. We a lot of the nice small details and life lessons that got us to the ending.
Despite that though. I think it's a pretty nice book and I just really love it. I think that the relationship of Everett and Silas so freaking sweet and heart melting. They makes the mess some of the story beats very tolerable.
