Accidentally finished it in one sitting

I didn’t intend to listen to this in one go, considering it’s a 15 hr long book, I figured I’d have a couple days for it. However, once I got sucked in, I was in for the long haul and there went my entire day off, not mad about it though. This book was great, funny, witty and heartwarming. I love the relationship between Shay, Noah, and Gennie so much. And the spice was the perfect amount. My only tiff was the female narrator wasn’t my cup of tea at first but eventually it didn’t matter because the story made up for it.
All in all, loved it, going to be doing a deep dive into more of Kate Canterbary’s books now

Perfect end to my favourite series
Évalué le: 2023-10-02
The tension built upon in the first two books for this couple just made the anticipation for this book all the more satisfying. Finally getting to see these two get together was a joyous experience and the spicy scenes were 12/10 chefs kiss swoon worthy! I had to bite my cheek constantly to stop myself from grinning like an idiot when I listened to this in public. I’ve loved Sloane since the first book and now getting to see Lucian’s softer side and his love for Sloane finally coming to light, this book is just everything and I know I’ll be rereading the series when I need a boost for years to come

And his simple, easy life gets turned upside down.

5/5 🥰🥰🥰
I was skeptical at first, I thought the book was gonna be more cliche and sure parts did require an eye roll. But the writing was so strong and the narration (especially Zachary Webber) make this book so easy to love! It’s perfect for when you want to read a romance with a little drama and not the trauma. This was my first surprise pregnancy trope, and I’m so glad I started with this one.

So hot you’ll question your moral integrity
Évalué le: 2022-12-14
I know this book gets a lot of flack for the taboo nature but if you read the synopsis and you know the author, then you shouldn’t be surprised. *Minor spoilers ahead.*
I could see the connection between Tiernan and Kaleb coming and though I think it could’ve been written with Tiernan ending up with any of the guys (or all?), I think given the rule from her mother that ultimately foreshadowed her decision. I wish Kaleb had more of a presence and character development though, considering he would be end game. All in all, I really enjoy the book, my heart was racing and my head was spinning from the spiciness, truly a 15 million Scoville heat units type of spicy book.

I love it but…
Évalué le: 2022-11-26
Don’t get me wrong I loved this book. But there was some things just too frustrating about the withholding of information that could’ve moved the story along more smoothly. Besides that, I think this was a great beginning to the women in stem series. I’m so happy that books like this now exist, getting to fall in love with the characters and feel the emotions like we’re experiencing them ourselves.
