This book has an interesting concept. I'm still not sure if I liked it or not. I began to detest the fellow and she ended up looking like a typical abused wife.

I really enjoyed the first group of Circles in He'll, so I did expect to like this group. To be honest, it felt like it was written for the sake of writing it. Not much effort or entertainment. The narrator was great as usual.

If you're a Stephen King fan, you will enjoy this one. I enjoyed the characters and the well thought out plot. Sometimes, his books are awesome until the end, and the ending just falls short. Not this one! It finishes well, but with a feeling like I want to know more about the future of the characters. Great story!

Never in my 40 years did I think my new normal would be gluing body parts back onto ghosts and hosting a houseful of dead squatters. Thank God for superglue and a strong stomach. Never thought I’d date the Grim Reaper and that I would be the one to blow it. I mean, how idiotic does one have to be to get dumped by a dude who lives in Hell? Going about business as usual is not usual in any way. No one is who they seem to be...and to be honest, neither am I. What I’d known to be true has turned out to be myth. The angels are frightening, and the demons are hot.

Great for the first half

The first half was very engaging and I was really enjoying the story. Even knowing it was a YA, The second half felt like the author had a teenage girl finish writing it. So much cheese! I struggled but made it through. The only spoiler I will give, is that it kind of ends in a bit of a cliffhanger. Unfortunately I can't care enough to get the next one.

I was really looking forward to this audiobook. I really enjoyed The girl with all the gifts and the other 2 books by this author. I kept slogging through, hopeful that it would get better. You could see the so called twist a mile away and the narrator was pretty bad overall. I cannot recommend at all.

I actually thought this story was really interesting and engaging. That is, until the end. I really have no idea what the ending was all about. Seemed rushed and not well thought out. Almost like someone else wrote the whole book until the last chapter.
