The 27th Annual Nordic Market from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 28, at the Sons of Norway Viking Hall, 8141 Briarwood, features Scandinavian and Alaska items for sale both indoors and outdoors including Norwegian sweaters, Swedish linens, hand-woven textiles, kicksleds, stained and fused glass, wild berry jams, gnomes and Nisse, enamel mugs, Lobben boots, European handicrafts, Alaska art, embossed prints, hand dyed silk scarves, Ukrainian gifts, jewelry, pressed Alaska wildflowers, wood items - including laser-cut wood maps, hand-carved wooden cribbage boards, porch leaners and repurposed wood art - fresh-baked cardamon buns, beeswax bags, woven, knit, embroidered, sewn and felted items, bowl cozies, night lights, pocket hearts and hand-crafted candles, along with authors to autograph their Nordic-themed books.
