Devolution: Global Warming (C64)

Earth has become a hot and dry place. The struggle for food and water has led to a breakdown of civilization and caused devastating wars and destruction. From the ashes of modern society, the survivors have organized themselves into tribal structures and are fighting each other for survival in the barren wastelands.

Devolution - Global Warming is a real-time strategy game that requires quick tactical decisions and a good long-term strategy.

Your goal is to unite the survivors of the apocalypse. But there are others who are trying to do the same. To win, you have to defeat all your opponents or at least stay alive longer...

System Requirements:

This version of game was created for the Commodore 64. If you're playing on real hardware, you'll need a 1541/1541 II or another drive and a joystick.

The game can also be played in a C64 emulator like Vice. There you can play the game with many different controllers or a keyboard.

You can download a digital version of the full game and the manual here for free (see downloads below). The digital version of the game is available in two formats:

• Disk Image (.d64)
• Single File (.prg)

Each download contains the exact same version of the game.  The disk image also includes a loader, but you will need a real disk driver or an emulator with true drive emulation to play the game. If you want to play the game from another media such as an SD2IEC, please use the .prg download.

In addition, poly.play is releasing a limited collector's edition of the game. The collector's edition consists of a beautiful cardboard box containing a printed manual, a poster and other extras. There are three versions available:

• 3,5" Disk
