- Our presentation will focus on our work on WikiProject X, a project funded by a Wikimedia Foundation Individual Engagement Grant to research and improve the WikiProject experience on the English Wikipedia.
- Currently, WikiProjects are a diverse landscape, operating with varying levels of usefulness and activity, with considerable untapped potential. Over the next few months, WikiProject X will be working to improve WikiProjects and other collaborations on the English Wikipedia through research, design, and experimentation, finding usage patterns and workflows and creating tools to better support them. In our presentation, we will discuss the findings of this research and the stories and experiences behind it, and showcase the results of our prototype WikiProject experience.
