Confusion between gay=* and lgbt=*
The incipit says that the first one is used to tag homosexual places and the second one LGBT ones. As homosexual (strictly gay male and lesbians) are part of LGBT community, I think the text should be changed in order to well understand if there are use differences or they are just the same. --★ → Airon 90 08:59, 30 September 2018 (UTC)
- Hey. I have corrected a bit, if there are errors, I encourage you to correct the description of the tag. Regards.Cz ja (talk) 10:06, 30 September 2018 (UTC)

I strongly disagree. Image:Combotrans.svg is a symbol of a male and female joined together. That's an exactly opposite concept to what's being described here - which is joining two females or joining two males. And no, this symbol does not mean "trans" - is the transgender symbol. Then there's and its variants, including one which uses blue/pink/white/pink/blue to represent "trans" or uses brown and black to indicate racialisation. carlb (talk) 17:59, 1 January 2023 (UTC)
