I absolutely love your puzzle design. The logic just works for me. They're not overly simple, but I'm also not spending half an hour just trying random combinations or clicking on every pixel trying to progress. There's no
"Ifnkovhgroghprm"
type stuff. It's just very satisfying. Also I love the pixely neon aesthetic.
Thank you, I'm very happy to hear that! I'm not the best puzzler out there myself. A frustrating and unapproachable game would have been the last thing I wanted to make.
Melon Head's really well done. It's obviously a bit bizarre but that fits the point & click genre really well. Actually the inventory items are some of the most normal I've encountered, though the characters & story certainly aren't. Solid puzzles, no pixel hunting or broken logic, well-written, good sense of humour. It's a winner.
Incredible. Fantastic. Magnificent. And I only just finished Chapter 1. I haven't been so enamoured and enraptured by an adventure game in this way in such a long time, and your use of the palette delights me at every turn. I started streaming this today, and am fervently requesting (demanding) everyone buys it. I was going to start with the Demo, then give it a breather, but I couldn't resist. Really loving it a whole heap of a lot.
Wow! I'm over the moon to hear that Melon Head has made such an impression on you. Thank you for the beautiful words, support, stream and attention! I'm checking it out a little late.
Wait… on your main page with the list of games this has a price on it, but when I come to this page there’s no way to buy or preorder… is my browser just being weird?
It's not your browser, don't worry. :) The game is currently in development and so it can't be bought yet.
I would have actually liked to hide the price for the time being, but I couldn't do it without marking the game as free, which in turn would've been misleading imo.
As for the pre-order, I think I will make it available as the development progresses.
Ah ok that makes total sense — thank you for the reply! I just didn’t want to be missing out on something which looked so entirely relevant to my interests. I’ll keep a keen eye on this page :)

Wow, that was a trip!

Also, we have a new function for automatic translations in the upper right corner, maybe you can give it a try?!
Thank you! I just read it and it's a great in depth review. I can recommend!

Can you please release this on steam?
I'm sorry, but I don't think it's worth the trouble or the money at this point. If I ever release it on steam I'll be sure to let you know!
Just made it to act 2, totally delightful so far! It's crazy beautiful! My retinas! Praise His Majesty!!! :D
The only other comment I have is the text can be hard to read at times.. (Space Quest 3-style speech bubbles option dlc?)
Glad to see you're liking it!
That's a good suggestion. If I can pull it off in the future it will definitely go by the name "Space Quest III-style speech bubbles". :D
Thanks for the feedback!
The atmosphere is unique and it is so fun to play not to mention the awesome music and art:)
Yay! Thank you! 😉
Great game! It's funny, intriguing, and creative, the art is amazing!
You know it! ;) Thanks, Nahuel!
The art is so weird. You're a really creative designer
Thanks, Max! And likewise, I'm happy I spotted Wink earlier on mastodon
Thank you! I'm glad you did too. We're gonna build a good community on Mastodon
Like we oughta! ;D
Well this looks totally fascinating!
