A collection of demos in the style of the classic Unofficial PlayStation demo discs a lot of us used to play when we were younger.

Currently, only Heir's Sword, Nowhere and Mum's Gone Out are available to play, however, more will be coming when they're ready. This is a solo project, so things are super slow. 

Game Descriptions

Heir's Sword

Rise up against your own bloodline. Navigate the cruel treacherous labyrinth populated by all manner of creatures, take down your foes with the weapon bestowed upon you by the very father you are destined to destroy and claim your right as king of the land.

Nowhere

Curiosity killed the cat. Anna thought she was robbing something worth a lot of money, but she didn't realise what that something was. Now she has to fight her way out, facing horrible monsters along the way with whatever she can find.

Mum's Gone Out

Ready for some reckless fun? Steal your mum's car and hit the streets with a gang of 16-year-olds racing across southern England. These amateur drivers are a menace, and with the police constantly switching up the tracks and chasing the front-runners, it's a total free-for-all. Speed through charming villages, bustling towns, and winding country roads, dodging crashes and police sirens in a desperate bid to outpace everyone else.

Recommendations

Input Support

If possible, play this with a controller. KM B will work just fine, but where's the fun in that. :(

CRT Screens

If you plan to play this on a CRT monitor, there is an extra ini setting you will likely require. If you go to <Game Folder>\UPSXD\Config\DefaultGame.ini and scroll to the bottom, you will find a setting called CRTMode. If you set this to true, the pixelation post process will be disabled.

You can also enable this with the command line argument -CRT.

Redistributables

If this is your first time running a game made in Unreal Engine, please go to <Game Folder>\Engine\Extras\Redist\en-us for an exe that will install anything required by the engine to run.
