Caterpillar Speed Dice
A speedrun platformer game submitted for the GMTK 2022 game jam.
Use WASD or arrow keys to move.
Bounce on the green dots to eat the Gem to move to the next face of the dice.
HINT: The Gem spawns above the center of the dice. If you jump from the corner just move diagonally towards the center and you should get it!

Funny game i took a while to know how to collect the gem .
I made 64 point that my best time x) .
i love it. gameplay is smooth and fun, game is short but sweet, yet I still can't believe it was made in 48 hours!
This was a fantastic submission. Really enjoyed the creativity and controls felt good. One thing to note was that it was a bit hard to read where the little collectables were, but that might just be me. Wanted to play more after the last level.
Had a fun time playing. The gem was a bit hard to orient in my head, but the movement felt smooth and the levels felt immersive.

Great game, but I could barely eat the gem most of the time.
I like the concept of the game, and the execution is well done. Sadly my snail skills are not great, so I couldn't finish it, but overall awesome game. It would be awesome if you could check my game out if you have time as well!
Responsive controls, a bit hard to figure out your relation to the gem in space, but a fun lil game
