revealing true purpose of this account it’s faster for me to search through the tags on here to find a video i’ve already posted then use the file name in the post to find the video in the folder than it is to try to remember what i called the video and when i downloaded it with file explorer alone. just Pondering
ok i’m interested in divulging technical Detail. so this folder has something like 1500 videos in it right now (and there are still a ton that I need to save at some point..), but I just went through and moved all of the videos I’ve posted already to a separate folder. two reasons for this. first, i keep catching myself double posting the same video. second, the way i organize this folder changed right about at this point in the chronology? when it was much smaller, i was able to just use the default windows sort by date. but there are 1500 videos in there. i can’t do that. i stopped being able to do it at around 500. because of how windows works (read: doesn’t work). so now i have a separate folder of 560 videos that have already been posted by sorting by date, and the main folder has 957 videos in it sorted by date created. and i just recently went through and actually fixed the date created attribute on most of these, since this folder exists across two separate laptops and multiple windows reinstallations. so that’s fun and exciting
