Little Ellie goes on an Easter Egg Hunt, exploring her garden and wandering off a little too far from home, where she meets a mysterious Bunny. Her dad is calling her for dinner already, but she keeps going further into the rabbit hole.
Dye The Bunny is an Easter horror game. Play as a little girl Ellie, exploring the garden, finding Easter eggs, solving the challenges that come your way, surviving the encounters of the Bunny and going down the rabbit hole, where the Bunny lives. Ellie has a little basket to put the Easter eggs into, as well as other things she can find along the way, which is an intuitive inventory system for the player to use. But at the end of it all, Ellie has to do something. Bunny wants to ask Ellie for a favor. Dye the Bunny. Dye the Bunny, Ellie.
The game also features more endings after the game is completed for further exploration, story and a dark twist.

For a moment I thought Mark Hamill was narrating the bunny!
This seemed to be some sort of fever dream nightmare that I really dug - the tension of Ellie collecting the eggs in an almost innocent way juxtaposed by Dye The Bunny constantly cajoling her to DYE. THE. BUNNY. was an interesting premise.I always give my videos pros and cons on Itch.io and are only my findings after having played and digested the game. I think anyone who can put together a game deserves all the praise regardless of any critiques, and will always give constructive criticism.

Glad the game was scary and tense, and yeah I'm proud of the voice work in this too, they did an amazing job.
Dye The Child area was mostly an atmospheric piece into the game, as well as a small indicator to make more connections between the child, blood and dyeing, which all are important for the ending of the game. I can see that there were people who missed the door after the book so yeah I think I could've added some sort of visual indicator there, I thought the loud door sound was enough but the visuals could be improved for that moment.

Cant play till i replace my computer but did watch Manlybadasshero play it on his YouTube channel and i love it! Did you do the bunny's voice? It sounds like Mark Hamil as Joker enough for nostalgic tingles but also as your own creepy character to have me on edge! Love love love it!
