    Korzinka supports World Breastfeeding Week The company participated in the World Breastfeeding Week held from 1 to 7 August. As a part of the awareness raising campaign, Korzinka Mahalla stores displayed boxes containing informational materials. These brochures provide comprehensive information on the benefits of breastfeeding, and methods of supporting mothers. The annual breastfeeding support campaign takes place during the first week of August in over 150 countries, backed by World Health Organization, UNICEF, local health ministries, and community organisations. The theme for 2024 is "Closing the Gap: Supporting Breastfeeding for All". The aim is not only to provide comprehensive information support but also to encourage mothers to exclusively breastfeed from birth for at least six months. Read more: https://lnkd.in/dmkWzjv8

    Statement from Korzinka about the “Kundalik xaridlar uchun eng arzon narxlar” (Lowest prices on everyday purchases) programme CEO of the Korzinka supermarket chain, Rud Pedersen, met with the leadership of the Competition Promotion and Consumer Protection Committee, and made a statement regarding the “Kundalik xaridlar uchun eng arzon narxlar” programme, launched in May 2024. “We offer this range at the lowest prices, on a long-term basis, everyday. This is a completely new approach to the local retail market, making life not only easier for our customers, but also more affordable. And since this is new to the local market, we can understand why the Committee has questions about it. We are open to cooperation and are happy to now clarify both our position and our social responsibilities,” said Rud Pedersen, CEO of Korzinka. At Korzinka, we try to provide our customers with quality products at the lowest prices, creating a superior value proposition, and we will continue to do so through our ongoing Lowest Prices on Everyday Purchases programme.     Korzinka launches Lowest Price campaign The new programme will help with the cost of living for Korzinka’s customers. The company always strives to make the instore experience comfortable and enjoyable and to offer the lowest prices on customers’ shopping. The new Lowest Price campaign (marked throughout the stores in Uzbek as “Eng arzon narx”) offers customers the lowest prices on a basket of everyday shopping items. Korzinka is undertaking continuous price monitoring in supermarkets and bazaars in Tashkent and Tashkent Region to make sure its stores offer the keenest prices. Customers can be sure that when the see the Eng arzon narx label, they are buying at the keenest prices. Prices are tracked weekly, and the company actively responds to any changes in market pricing. At the moment, the campaign is valid in Tashkent and Tashkent region. However, the company is working on launching it throughout the country in the near future.
