Polemon (змієїдна змія) — рід змій родини земляних гадюк (Atractaspididae). Представники цього роду мешкають в Африці на південь від Сахари.

Наукова назва роду Polemon походить від слова дав.-гр. πολεμος — битва, війна[8].
