"It's a very varied role and I have an excellent team around me to help put our improvement and strategy plans into action," he says. "No two days are the same and it's all about ensuring the effectiveness of our systems and strategically planning to improve our performance in all areas; putting plans in place to engage our teams, support our SBTI pathway to net zero, and I also represent the company in trade associations and European technical committees, so it's important to support the evolution of standards within our industry whilst enabling lower carbon solutions."
