    Designing a 12 m tall mechanical tower that extends and collapses whilst moving around a warehouse presented some tough challenges for our engineering team. Here’s how we did it: ✔️ Innovative bearing layout to minimise bending of the tower ✔️ Unique linear bearing design for smooth movement of tower sections ✔️ Complex pulley system to lift tower sections at different speeds ✔️ Integrated suspension to manage instabilities caused by uneven warehouse floors ✔️ Complete bidirectionally through clever castor wheel arrangement ✔️ High battery capacity to facilitate 5 hours of scanning Check out the other tactics we used to develop a fully autonomous warehouse scanning robot: https://lnkd.in/eHrTVp_p #robotics #automation #warehousemanagement

    With an array of high-quality cameras and sensors, our robot autonomously navigates your warehouse to capture high-definition 3D scans of the space as well as any labels and barcodes on pallets, parcels or products. The robot scans up to 15,000 locations an hour with 99.9% accuracy and is designed to facilitate warehouse automation at heights of up to 15 meters. This data is fed straight into our platform to create accurate, real-time digital models of the status and condition of the warehouse racks and items on them.
