There has been a 1 million month-on-month increase in users for X, formerly Twitter, according to the latest UKOM endorsed data from Ipsos iris, contributed to by the UK General Election and the Euros final in July. This is the highest month-on-month increase in users since Elon Musk took over the platform in October 2022. Despite an uptick in audience, monthly users were still down by over 4 million (-14%) since Musk's take over. Ipsos iris data shows that women have left X at a higher rate than men, with audiences down by 18% between October 2022 and July 2024 for women, compared to 11% for men. #X #Twitter #Insights #AudienceMeasurement #OnlineBehaviour #Ipsosiris

We’re excited to announce the latest article in the Ipsos x Effie UK ‘Dynamic Effectiveness’ series; Healing the Divide. This edition focuses on the pressing need to incorporate more inclusivity and representation into advertising, and the impact this can have for brands in both the short and long term. Meta-analysis of thousands of advertisements in the Ipsos Creative|Spark ad testing database demonstrates that actively inclusive ads yield substantial benefits. Specifically, high-scoring ads on the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) indices show a 10% increase in attention, a 55% boost in sales lift measures, and a 43% rise in potential equity share gain compared to low-scoring ads.
