I’m committed to protecting the world’s priceless natural heritage, and I believe that right now we have a once-in-a-generation opportunity to make a profound difference in protecting this for the future.

Because of this, as part of our global community, I’ve committed to building a personal portfolio of philanthropic projects focused on two interconnected areas - conservation & community. Support for these projects includes the provision of catalytic grants, volunteering time and communications expertise, and participating in knowledge transfer programmes.

By 2050, our planet will be supporting around 10 billion people. With our landscape under this kind of pressure, safeguarding the fragments of our environment that remain untouched in order to inspire future generations will be a huge collective and collaborative effort. The purpose of this work is to make a contribution to this imperative. I’ve had the privilege of working with and learning from the following:

    Conservation
¬ The Royal Foundation of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry & Stop Ivory Report Commission: Understanding consumers in order to reduce demand for illegal wildlife projects
¬ Virunga National Park: Elephant Collaring Programme in partnership with Save the Elephants
    ¬ Virunga (Documentary)
¬ WildLondon: Designing a concept to bring our wild places into cities.
¬ Pangolin Specialist Group: Research funding

    Community
¬ Missionaries of Charity founded by Mother Teresa, Calcutta
    ¬ The Samburu, Kenya
    ¬ The Yawanawa, Brazil
¬ The Arhuacos, indigenous people of the Sierra Nevada, Colombia
¬ Type 1 Diabetes White Paper: Exploring solutions for hard-to-reach communities in developing countries
