Although modern medicine is most accepted worldwide, however there is no cure for all diseases in this or any other discipline including alternative and complementary medicine. This book is a piece of combining modern conventional medicine with yoga and Ayurveda.

The book has fundamentals of systems and areas of convergence of the disciplines which were thought dissimilar and far apart, however I have tried to bring them together to have some taste and consider possibility of combining these for a better quality of life, preservation of health and cost-effectiveness.

Modern medicine excels at diagnosing and treating acute conditions and managing chronic diseases. It offers powerful tools for rapid symptom relief and lifesaving interventions. Its strength lies in its scientific rigor, its ability to standardize treatments, and its focus on disease pathology.
On the other hand, yoga offers a preventive approach to health, with physical, mental, and spiritual benefits.
Ayurveda, with its holistic and individual-centric view of health, offers personalised wellness strategies. Its focus on balancing the mind, body, and spirit, and its preventive approach, aligns well with contemporary understanding of wellness and chronic disease management. The jhealthy foods with alteration of diet pattern and life style helps and contribute further to the disease management in modern medicine. Additional benefits of the plant derived products have significant contribution to the chronic disease management.

The goal of this integrated approach is not to replace one system with another but to find the most effective combination for each individual. It's about respecting the uniqueness of each person, their health condition, and their personal beliefs and preferences.

Read this book and apply so as to get the maximum benefit of synergestic effects of all medical disciplines.

We know that diseases affect health indicators and national economy. Outbreaks of diseases
consume massive economic resources and so do the new treatment methods for various
    diseases.
There is a shifting burden of disease from young to old and from communicable to chronic
disease. The ageing population means an increasing incidence of cancer. There are increasing
trends in obesity amongst the population and there is increasing poor mental health in
children and young people, particularly disadvantaged children. There are re-emerging
infectious diseases and new ones, such as polio, tuberculosis, whooping cough.
Understandably chronic diseases in elderly population are constant source of health
expenditure and sudden emergence of deadly communicable diseases like swine flu can have
massive impact on the tourism industry, on which some countries rely.

  • Leadership

Leadership is a concept that is notoriously difficult to define. It has been said that leadership is like
beauty; it is difficult to define but you know it when you see it. At the most basic level, a leader is
someone who leads others and leadership is a process of directly inspiring others to perform a task. In fact, a leader is a person who has a vision, a drive, a commitment to achieve that vision, and the skills to make it happen.

When talking of organizational culture, some people get confused between leadership, management
and supervision, and use the terms interchangeably. Although the definitions of the terms differ, an
individual may have the ability to provide all three. Supervision means that an individual is charged with providing direction and oversight for other employees. A successful supervisor provides recognition,
appreciation, training and feedback to reporting employees. Management means arranging and
organizing the affairs of business. A successful manager provides direction, guides other employees,
administers and organizes work processes and systems, and handles problems. A manager monitors and controls work while helping a group of employees to more successfully conduct their work than
they would have without him or her. Leadership is a function of knowing yourself, having a vision that
is well-communicated, building trust among colleagues and taking effective action to take your group,
team or organization forward. A successful leader shapes and shares a vision, which gives a point to the work of others.

Leadership is the ability to get extraordinary achievement from ordinary people. Leadership is thus
a process by which members of a group are empowered to work together synergistically towards a
common goal or vision that will create change, transform an organization and improve the quality of
    life.

They also conduct the Diploma in Child Health exam, which is taken by many doctors who plan a career in General Practice. Fellows of the college have the postnominal initials FRCPCH. In 1996, upon receiving the Royal Charter and following negotiations with the three other UK Colleges of Physicians, the organisation became responsible for postgraduate and medical education, including continuing professional development. The governing body of the RCPCH is its Council, comprising the President and Honorary Officers, elected representatives from England, Scotland, Wales and the Republic of Ireland and elected representatives of trainees and associate members. Council delegates many of its functions to standing committees and the College also sets up ad hoc working parties to deal, as necessary, with a wide range of particular subjects. Many of the College’s standing committees and working parties are established jointly with other professional bodies. Such committees produce reports, initiate special enquiries and make recommendations in policy and action to parent bodies The RCPCH also supports paediatric specialty groups concerned with scientific and other aspects of the various paediatric specialties. They act independently but liaise closely with the RCPCH; membership of the groups is not necessarily confined to members of the RCPCH. 4 Main activities: Education and training Research and Policy Communications Corporate Services
