Year on year we surpass our previous successes, improving our B2B relationship and extending the lifespan of our loyalty.   In 2023, we created a social media package for a campaign consisting of 4 recipe videos and 4 videos of chefs discussing the benefits of using British Lion eggs.   Our target: 550K video views Our result: 779.5K video views   We delivered a result that was 41% HIGHER than client expectations.   How do we consistently improve? We adapt to the ever-changing environment of social media, listening to our audience about what content they consume, what content they seek, what content they want to create and if we can assist them in delivering. Improvements we are making for British Lion eggs 2024 campaign: 🎥 All videos are being filmed at 4K or higher using some of the best filming equipment in the industry. 📲 All videos are filmed and edited to be specific to each social media platform’s aspect ratio (e.g. 9:16 for reels, 16:19 for standard YouTube videos). 🥚 We are making sure that the British Lion egg is a key element of the recipe, and the use differs from previous videos, showing the versatility of the product. 📈 We consistently update and expand our databases and audience segments.   Why should you company work with The Staff Canteen? 𝙍𝙤𝙗𝙞𝙣𝙨𝙤𝙣𝙨 ‘𝙨𝙞𝙜𝙣𝙞𝙛𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙣𝙩𝙡𝙮’ 𝙞𝙣𝙘𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙨𝙚𝙨 𝙞𝙣𝙫𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙨𝙥𝙚𝙣𝙙 𝙞𝙣 𝙥𝙪𝙗 𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙣𝙚𝙧 𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙩𝙚: 😍 💸 North west brewer and retailer Robinsons Brewery has made a “significant” increase in its investment spend with its business partners, supporting nine sites in the first three months of 2024. With £1.6m of the spend being in the pub partner estate, this represents a three-fold increase on 2023 levels, which Robinsons said was a sign of more long-term post-pandemic confidence seen by the company and its business partners. In total £2.3m was spent, including three managed investments, meaning an average of just under £200,000 per pub, which keeps Robinsons on track to support around 10% of its 250-strong pub estate each year. William Robinson, director (pub division), said: “Our overall investment plan has not changed but what we are seeing this year is a significant increase in spend alongside our business partners. The significant increase reflects our dedication to nurturing and developing long-term partnerships and ensuring each of our pubs can be the best in the community it serves. We have a promising investment plan for the second quarter of 2024 and look forward to announcing further updates towards the end of June.” In March, Propel revealed that Robinsons had opened its second coffee shop within a pub and may roll out more. The company added the shop, called Cow Shed, within the refurbished Bulls Head in Castleton, which had just reopened following a £500,000 makeover.

The British Beer & Pub Association, has today sent an open letter to Rishi Sunak Keir Starmer and Edward Davey stressing the important role pubs and breweries play in communities across the UK. The letter has been signed by Young's Pubs and over 80 leading pub and brewing companies. The British beer and pub sector is one of the most historical, culturally significant, economically successful and dynamic components of British identity generating over 930k vital jobs in every part of the UK. It is imperative that the next government provides a sustainable and proportionate fiscal and regulatory framework that allows the sector to do what it does best; invest in our businesses and teams, embrace changing consumer tastes, and provide the community hubs that are the crucial and often invisible glue to social cohesion.
