The EU’s initiative on flight emissions labelling establishes a standard for emissions reporting, encompassing all greenhouse gases such as soot and water vapour. It will also consider sustainable aviation fuel usage, load factors, and freight loads. Consumers will be allowed to make like-for-like comparisons on their itineraries.
