Provide a series of presentations on building and maintaining a positive and robust ‘Operational Awareness & Safety Culture’ to ascertain the current level of the workforce involvement in site both.

No formal auditing or regulatory assessment was to be undertaken although the provision of a consultant report within 7 days of the vessel and site visits, with any recommendations for improvement was to be provided.

1st May 2020; returned to the same third party PLR project for the near shore element, in the singleton, dual role of 'Nordstream AG Crossings Representative'. Reporting directly to clients engineers and managers in the Survey Inspection & Maintenance Team. Assisted with the PLR & Survey Procedures, Anchor Patterns and Risk Assessment & Method Statement (RAMS) review. Attended and contributing to the KOM video conference before embarking on the vessel on the 6th May 2020 to observe the field approval of the barge Anchor Management System, the Vertical Injector (VI) and Chain Trencher (CT) sea trials, along with the positioning and survey systems. Departed the vessel on the 25th May 2020 when the third party confirmed that all operations within the Nordstream AG SEZ and covered by the crossing agreement were completed.

Duties include but not limited to: Observation the preparations for, the placement of anchors, and the movement of the barge into the SEZ. Verification of the position of the VI in relation to my client’s assets prior to landing it on the seabed during all six of the required entries into the safety zone and the grade in and ploughing away from the two active gas lines. Ensuring that ploughing operations close to the assets are being conducted within the terms of crossing agreement, agreed procedures and RAMS. Daily liaison with Nordstream AG PM, Captain & Contractors (50 Hz & Boskalis) regarding all matters operational and HSSE within the SEZ. Focal point on the vessel for any Nordstream AG subsea infrastructure queries. Unannounced compliance checks and safety observation duties of the work site operations. Periodic monitoring and review of TBT’s and provide an assessment of the contractors HSSE performance.

Returned to the project in the singleton role of Nordstream 2 Crossings Representative. Joined a mobilised and operational vessel in anticipation of them moving into my client’s safety and exclusion zones. Completed positioning, Risk Assessment & Method Statement (RAMS) review and assessed the contractor’s procedures for deployments in the safety zone. Returned to the project in the singleton role of Nordstream 2 Crossings Representative. Joined a mobilised and operational vessel in anticipation of them moving into my client’s safety and exclusion zones. Completed positioning, Risk Assessment & Method Statement (RAMS) review and assessed the contractor’s procedures for deployments in the safety zone. Observed the preparations for, and movement of the vessel into safety zone, and then verified the position of the plough in relation to my client’s assets prior to landing it on the seabed, grading in and ploughing away. Remained onboard to confirm the same during all six of the required entries into the safety zone. Duties include but not limited to, daily liaison with Nordstream 2 PM, Captain & Contractors (50 Hz & Boskalis) regarding all matters operational and HSSE within the Nordstream 2 SEZ. Focal point on the vessel for any Nordstream 2 subsea infrastructure queries, as well as ensuring that ploughing operations close to the Nordstream 2 assets are being conducted within the terms of crossing agreement, agreed procedures and RAMS. Initially the deployment was a continuation of the office based support utilising Quinsy and Global Mapper. There was 2 ferrous vessels and 1 non-ferrous vessels, with the MV Ivero role being the tertiary ferrous vessel in support of the MV Vigilant. The MV Ivero was mobilised with GMP 6 frame, 300/900 kHz SSS, and standard navigational and positioning packages to complete a Ferrous Vessel SOW.

Mobilise a cougar ROV and conduct a recovery operation to retrieve a GMP8 system lost on site. This was completed with five dives over an 18- hour period with all the equipment recovered in a serviceable state. MV Ivero then re-mobilised for UXO duties and returned to site to complete further trials and calibrations and conduct a series of EVT’s.
Project SOW (Ferrous Vessels) included but was not limited to:
• Acquisition of a 400 x 400 m area around 103 turbines arranged in a standard grid
• Survey inter array cables to a corridor width of 104m
• Two export cable routes of circa 85 km with a corridor width of 50m
• Bathy and backscatter data also required across the entire project.
