Along the way, Oli was lost in a land-mined jungle, detained, interrogated and spied upon. He skirted avalanches, frost-bite and severe dehydration as he completed fourteen audacious mountain climbs in mid-winter. Oli celebrated three new year’s festivals, partied with locals and found forgotten dinosaur footprints in a remote Tajik valley. This is the story of one man’s journey into some of the most scarcely documented corners of Asia, describing the kind heart of humanity and the immense challenges posed by mountains off the beaten-track.
