🚗 Switch enters the vehicle rental market 🚗 A new vehicle rental brand is launching with a focus on adaptability.  Switch is being introduced as an independent business by Scot Group, which operates the Thrifty brand in the UK. Switch is offering a range of flexible rental options, including short term, long term and flexi-rental, with further services coming in line with market requirements. It will serve SMEs and corporates, as well as personal customers. Scot Group managing director Martin Wilson told Business Car that the decision to introduce a new brand was motivated by a need for agility to adapt to different business needs. ******** HELP ******** To all my amazing automotive contacts. One of the regular requirements of an automotive event organiser is to source competitor vehicles for comparison purposes. This has never been an issue, however with recent supply issues and the increased requirement for Electric Vehicles which are not prevalent in abundance on hire fleets, it’s becoming more of a challenge. Therefore at Motiv8 we want to create a database that will help us and other event agencies source these vehicles when required for short term hire. So if you or anyone you know can assist in providing vehicle loan, hire, rental or very short term lease particularly of EV’s please get in touch. We have a particular requirement for the procurement of the following for a June event. VW ID.4 Audi Q4 e-tron Tesla Model Y BYD Atto 3 Skoda Enyaq Volvo XC40 Recharge MG 4 Kia Niro EV As stated above, when we have compiled this database we are happy to share this as it’s becoming more and more of an issue in the industry.
